"wow nootrpoics really do work"

HAHA! Well, Duh! Or rather "anti-Duh!"

Thats a good stack, but alot of afficianados steer clear of Vinpocetine which always made me feel "not right" and I have since read tends to deplete or imbalance something.

Read that in imminst.org a GREAT forum you ought to check out if you are interested in nootropics, as well as supplements in general.

Sure. Some can be overdone. Some need cycling (time on/time off). Some are either too stimulating or too stoning. Ginkgo in excess can block clotting... and in normal amounts can be dangerous combined with prescription anti-clotters like warfarin. Among the true nootropics, the -racetams they are and odd bag with varying effects in different people. For instance i tend not to care for Piracetam, even with the addition of acetylcholine promoters, I tend to get "foggy" on it. HOWEVER, Aniracetam (though shorter acting), which is hated by others, I just love... much more "UP" for me. Seriously check out http://imminst.org/forums for VASTLY more detail on these than we can get into here.

One tip though vis-a-vis psychedelics: 1200-1600 mg Piracetam (probably best add DMAE, or Centrophenoxine, or Lecithin too) an hour before MDMA or Methylone really DOES seem to deepen/strengthen/lengthen the nice effects.

The thread actually right above yours currently, The Big and Dandy Nootropics Thread, is the place to go for this sort of information. There's been a lot of discussion throughout it and it's not terribly long either. You can ask question in there once you've read a little about them to get some basic knowledge. :)
