WOW this is so annoying is it normal to itch everywhere like im scratching myself so much im itchy everywhere my nose, ears, asshole, balls, legs, stomach, is this normal or am i allergic?

damn I clicked on this thinking it was a thread about World of Warcraft.

And opiates make you release histamines from mast cells in a similar process to allergic reactions...

but it doesn't mean you're allergic. Pretty much everyone gets the itch. Some people love the itch. Take some claratin or benadryl if you want it to go away.

for me, some are worse than others. i itch very little after a high dose of oxycodone, but codeine is so unbareable that i won't touch the stuff.

^that's pretty common, codeine produces one of the most pronounced histamine releases.

Normal. I get that too, and it is annoying. When it gets out of control, I just take a shower, and it goes away for a while. Showers can cure almost everything.

I like the itch. However, my balls are the itchiest sons of bitches ever when high on pk. Then me itching them, turns into getting a boner. Never ending cycle.

Meclizine is my favorite anti-histamine to reduce the opiate itchies. It works a lot better, at least for me. It's also not as sedating as Benadryl, for example.

ive just got so damn itchy off oxycodone its unreal, ive been binging on it for 36 hours (not a reg opiate user), and had the occasional itch, then this afternoon BAM intense intching all over which wont stop at all, so bad, ive had 4mg chlorphenamine as thats the only anti histamine in the house and it helped for what felt like 15 minutes now its come back, will it go away eventually? fuck its bad lol.

take an otc anti-histamine till it goes away (promethazine, doxylamine, diphenydramine... etc) but they will probably make you a bit drowsy
