yeah, but you'd probably have a better chance of getting struck by lightning (twice), then getting seconal prescribed in this day and age.

lmao...i have enough trouble getting me some humble ambiens from the doc to put me to rest when i cant get benzos of the street.
 
You have a higher chance of OD on phenobarb, it takes too long for most to kick in.
Then, they figure they haven't done enough, and take more.
They fall asleep and don't wake back up.


I Got my Seconal after years of trial and error.

Seroquel, to Ambien, to Restoril, to Soma(weird, I know), to chloral hydrate, and last, Seconal

Years of sleep therapy was no match for my brain.
After a neurotransmitter test, I have a natural GABA deficiency.
So I have to enhance what I have.
I take Gabatril by the way.

I don't really enjoy them much. They usually just make me relax, steal shit, stumble around, and the completely forget it all.
But hey, to each his own, ya know?

If you wanna know what barbs are like the closest thing you can do is Soma.

At random moments, it's funny, cause your muscles just let go, and your legs buckle, then you just fall with absolutely no control of it at all.
 
Have some phenobarbital. IMO not that great. Personally much prefer Benzos. Never tried Soma.
 
No, phenobarbital is just good for anxiety.
It's really a hit or miss, or an overkill.

If you dose right, you should be a little calm feeling when you wake up in the morning.
If you are still full blown sleepy, then you took too much.
If you don't feel it at all, you didn't take enough.

And the thing is, that perfect dose is gonna get higher as time permits.

i took soma once. the most noteworthy thing was how awkward/impaired it made you physically. like jay said, you can literally have trouble walking. i mean, it felt good too, but what was surprising was how physically disabling it was.

Yeah, and fixing meals. LOL
Next thing you know, you doze off holding a bowl of soup, and you wake up with a overturned bowl in your lap, and a soupy shirt.
 
I wouldn't say they are recreational, I'd say they are relaxing if you are an anxious type of person. They are a godsend if you get panic attacks. If you're looking for fun I'd try and get a hold of something else.

Don't use them daily if they are not prescribed to you! I've been prescribed 1 to 2mgs of Xanax daily for three years and ran out a few days early a couple months ago and had a seizure from the withdrawals while I was driving, I was actually on my way to pick up my refill (My doctor had ok'd an early refill, but there was a mix up at the pharmacy and I had to go without them for 3 days) I totaled my car, and broke my wrist, but really I'm lucky to be alive. This was the first seizure I've ever had.

Being addicted and or dependent on benzos is hell, I'm in the process of tapering off of them and it is not fun!

I had three boxes of phenobarbital once, and I dosed and redosed and redosed over three days, on the third day I had taken (sp?) two or three grams of the shit. I liked the feeling but I finished my trip in the ER. Bah.
 
i heard barbs (the good ones, anyway) produced a buzz that was most like alcohol intoxication.

To most people, no.
Have to say, the times I've done benzo's, it's been because of their sleep inducing effects, not to get high.

And I couldn't remember if I even GOT high afterwards, tbh.
So.. no.
 
sure, they used to be recreational. Like 80,000 light years ago. They definately can be, yes, but they are seriously such a bad type of drug to have fun with. They're almost like "freeze drired alcohol" but not even as good.
 
yeah benzos are much like alcohol, in fact 8 out of 10 doctors will tell you that, haha 4 i have talked to openly said it, so yeah of course they are recreational, but I think they are a dirty high, great if you have anxiety, cant sleep, or something along those lines. but just for fun it is mostly just drowsy, which bendryl can give you that effect haha. and when mixed with stuff can be deadly
 
I like ativan. Xanax screws me up to much. Ativan and a bowl pack will have me relaxed and buzzed very nicely.
