i don't think people go running off to be with people they consider to be ugly with great personalities, but it would differ between individuals whether or not the personality made them only slightly or much more attracted to them.

i also hope you are not equating conventionally attractive to generally attractive, because i think we've all been brainwashed on that account. people have quirks and find certain things more attractive than others will.
 
I chose C. Average girl who is nice, and for the most part a nympho.

A is THE most beautiful almost makes her an automatic bitch, because she doesn`t have to work for it. Plus she`d make me look bad.

B well, how ugly are you talking? Amazing personality and attitude on ugly will only get you a job on radio. Although I`d likely look good next to her.

As for the OP, I'd definitely take the second of the two.
I'm not sure if you've actually dated someone with a shit personality, but irrespective of their looks the times you're not fucking them are just intolerable.
No way I'd take the first option.

Yeah that's the crux of the issue there. Are we talking like something not even a mother could love, or just a small whack with the ugly stick? My 'taste' of women is quite bizarre and so could possibly find what is considered a mildly unattractive woman to be sexy in her own way, especially if her physique is adequate.

If b is beastly, then would definitely go option a for the sex until I couldn't handle her bitchiness anymore and then show her road....

Women are objects, so are men.

I.e. "an OBJECT at rest well remain at rest until acted upon by a force" holds just as true for a woman as it does for a bowling ball.

If this was not the case, it would be much simpler to use females as astronauts, since they'd require zero energy input to achieve the required delta-v.

Therefore, women are objects.

I'm not sure that I can see being with someone I don't find physically attractive at all. That said, if their personality is total shit, I couldn't deal with that either. This is likely why I often find myself happier alone. :\
 
I can't date someone I can't have sex with, and I can't have sex with someone who's physically unattractive to me.

If the beautiful woman with bad personality doesn't talk during sex and is even good in bed, it could work out.

But honestly... neither of those options is really acceptable to me. The most beautiful person in the world would not have an offensive apppearance OR personality.

Being a straight female, I'd say an ugly guy with an amazing attitude and personality.
Looks ARE important to me but personality is MORE important.
And someone with a terrible personality ... I couldn't be with for very long.
Plus looks ... you can work on them. Is he out of shape? Maybe we can go to the gym together. Does he have a lot of pimples or something? We can work on that too! There are things that you can do to improve looks!
