Would you rather be on tramadol or suboxone

ive taken codeine priscriped for gallstones... taken tramadol but if i go up to 150mg i feel like shit an puke my guts up. would like to try oxys but i havent got that choice
 
I don't see tramadol as recreational, but some people get kicks out of it I guess. If you are talking about a maintenance thing, then stick with subs. Tram can have some nasty withdrawals if abused. It has some SSRI properties as well to add to the mind-fuck of the ensuing withdrawal. It can also cause seizures at therapeutic dosages. Tram is a shit opioid IMO, so don't waste your time. Subs have a long-lasting withdrawal but it is pretty reliable. I think tram is more dangerous for a number of reasons.
 
I'm starting to feel your vibe and perspective on your tramadol outlook 6 months ago at 200 mg I would get itchy and warm feeling and happy with no pain now I'm seriously holding my self back from going over 450 because I'm barely feeling anything I need help and I don't know how to go on about getting suboxone

To me tramadol does nothing nothing I take subutex while I'm looking for new neurologist mine retired I was on 140 mgs a day methadone 14 tens a day wrote to take 70mg in am 70mg in pm or I could take like at clinic first thing in morning except I got a months worth instead dealing with all the clinic B.S an got three oxy 30mg Imm release 90 them small blues a month 90 hydros for break thru pain I already had a opiate problem before I got hurt but I never used or felt need prob cause had so much was no need to use more my opiate receptors were probably overflowing! to be pain free cost me a lot I would take my opiates an benzos an be burning holes every pair clothes I had but I was n major car accident as a teen then had chest opened up for open heart surgery if I was awake I was in pain so my anxiety dr now instead of just my anxiety /panic attack meds clonazepam 3 2mgs a day 6mgs a thirty mg temazepam at night an halcion .25 as needed an two 8mg subutex sublingual so 16mgs a day as long as your in withdrawals believe me when was 18 I was givin by dr for detox buprenorphine .3 mg ampules to IM OR IV but I was told to inject in buttocks an givin a vial of narcan an told to use a week after my last injection an if nothing happen then physical part was over but could never make it to the end first day I got I was no where near as knowledge having about pharmacology back then so I had done a full agonist that morn IV so by time was home feeling lil Ill or I thought was ill enuff so I injected a .3 amp of the buprenorphine an went into the worst WD'S of my life swore never take that again but now it kills my pain keeps me not sick so I'm good as I can be until find a neurologist without a waiting list an to the tramadol part as I said taken an been prescribed prob every opiate that's in nowadays formulary an I think I would prefer any opiate/ opioid to tramadol I no someone who was sub sick took like over the 300mgs they say is max daily dose an they were still sick as hell so subutex is .25 of a mg equals 10mg IV MORPHINE so add how much that is what every mg of buprenorphine equals 40mgs of morphine so 16mg sub what 800mg morphine
 
I oded on tramodol one time had a seisure i still get shit about a year later
 
I would take Suboxone over Tramadol any day. I don't care for the hit or miss opioid effects of Tramadol or the SNRI effects. For me, the Suboxone can have nice recreational effects, if used on occasion, can be an excellent tapering medication, if used absolutely correctly and can be used as a very effective pain medication.
