Ernest McHenry went to Burger King and bought a fish sandwich. He pulled off the bun to salt and pepper his fish, and he found a blue pill disintegrating in the sauce. "Have It Your Way" has now taken on a whole new meaning for Ernest.

"I said, ´Wow.´ I was kind of shocked at first and I let everyone know. I said, ´Wow, look at this,´" McHenry said. He was lucky he discovered it - another 21-year-old girl wasn´t so lucky, getting sick after just one bite.

The girl went back to complain, but then had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. Police have arrested 2 men, Woody Duclos, charged with poisoning food with Hydrocodone, and Bryant Jones for selling the drugs to Woody.

I sure as hell would like that....=D who else is down? ;p

Wow... That's very odd. Why on earth would you do that? It's just a waste of good drugs for one =D
And she had a seizure??? Are seizures common with Hydrocodone? I didn't think there was any risk of such a thing happening at all. Tramadol yes, but not Hydro.
Wiki says yes in the case of overdose.. There is citation as well actually.. So I guess you can (well you can as she did lol).
Fuck.. Still don't understand those guy's logic in the slightest though :\

I think burger king is laced with opiates.... So we keep wanting it... and get sick when we don't have it... I NEW IT

I hate those Burger King Hot Sweats, Stomach cramps, restless leg syndrome and insomnia...

The fact that she got sick after eating one bite is pretty weird too. Unless she had 1 bite and then they saw that there was something in the sandwich and her getting sick was the seizure.

I wonder if the order was intended for someone else, but got mixed up and given to the wrong person.

Also the article title should have been named, "Burger King: Now Serving Happy Meals".

I bet she just had a seizure from the shitty fast food burger and the hydro had nothing to do with it.

That's one meal I'd like to "upsize". Wonder if smackdonalds will offer something to compete with it...

Next, expect a flurry of posts asking how to prepare the secret sauce for IV admin...

Guess he couldn't do a proper pill id... :D

I'm all for opiates, but even if I found a 160mg OC in my damn cheesesteak, I'd complain. And they'd never get the OC back.

Hmmm, I wonder how the cops found the dealer... Fucking snitch.

Hydrocodone/ APAP pills taste absolutely horrible! Like someone wouldn't notice this!

OP, can you please paste the entire article in your post...?

Man Finds Pill In Burger King Sandwich
2 Employees Arrested In Connection With Painkiller In Food
POSTED: Tuesday, February 16, 2010
UPDATED: 10:32 pm EST February 16, 2010

Ernest McHenry said he found a blue pill in his fish sandwich from Burger King on Philips Highway near the Avenues.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's probably safe to say Ernest McHenry didn't order a pill inside his fish sandwich from Burger King, but that's exactly what he got.
"I said, 'Wow.' I was kind of shocked at first and I let everyone know. I said, 'Wow, look at this,'" McHenry said.
McHenry found the blue pill on the bun of the sandwich. Police said it's the painkiller hydrocodone.
"Immediately, my attitude about food or hunger, it all disappeared," McHenry said while laughing.
McHenry said he's lucky he discovered the pill before he actually took a bite. He said he went to put salt and pepper on his sandwich when he noticed it.

Another customer was not as fortunate.
Police said a 21-year-old who went through the drive-through at the same Burger King on Philips Highway near the Avenues ended up getting sick after one bite.
According to police documents, after she went back to the restaurant and called police, she had a seizure and had to be taken to a hospital.
Police later arrested Woody Duclos, a Burger King employee, on charges of poisoning food with intent to kill or injure a person.
They also charged his co-worker Bryant Jones after they said he admitted selling the pills to Duclos.
The district manager told police that Duclos was recently suspended for misconduct, and she believes "he did this because he was disgruntled and angry at the business," according to the police report.
"It's stupid really, just dumb," McHenry said. "Just goes to show you there's nothing people won't do."
McHenry said the fast food chain's famous slogan "Have it your way" has now taken on a whole new meaning.
"I didn't ask for that," he said. "People do crazy things. It just makes you a little more cautious about everything you do."
Burger King issued this statement Tuesday following the arrests of two of its employees:
"Food safety is non-negotiable at BURGER KING® restaurants. This franchise restaurant, which is independently owned and operated, has terminated the two employees involved and is working with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office on this investigation."

Apparently, have someone who admitted to selling the pills to the guy, and the perpetrator already having acted out against the company... It seems to be a pretty solid case, if you ask me.

What I'm wondering is why the guy would attempt to poison people by giving them a smallish dose of a drug that would make them feel great? That dose is perfect for giving a slight buzz to someone, not poisoning them!
