No. I have had offers from men and women who I was having casual sex with who wanted me not to use condoms. We were total strangers and had just met minutes or even hours before that.

I did not do this or give them any anal or vaginal sex at all even with condoms since I figured they were crazy, had a death wish, or were HIV+ or had other STDs.

I've never done it BB/raw with a man or woman even people who I was dating or in a LTR with.

If I put a sex toy like a butt plug, vibrator, or dildo into someone or use it externally on them I put condoms on those too.

I don't do receptive anal sex at all.

Unprotected sex with someone you just met and know very little about is always a risk.

I'm always surprised and perplexed by people who are very opinionated about STD's, yet know very little about them.

That's a stupid thing to do, hello the worst STD of all, unwanted pregnancy anyone? And if you are a male not the female you haven't even the right to get it terminated!
I think people get all upset about STDs in general out of proportion to what they are though. Pretty much the only scary ones are HIV, Hep C, Herpes, or Genital worts, because you can't cure them. Most other STDs you take a pill or you get a needle of penicillin and you're fine again, preferable to even the common cold really.
Use a condom, they are good. Don't have one? stop by a gas station.

No way known. Though I'd be more afraid of sleeping with a random guy, as the STDs they carry and pass on to women unknowingly (as there are no symptoms) are scarier still.

By all rights, I should be riddled with diseases. I was rather irresponsible in my youth; although I would periodically freak out and always got checked on a regular basis. Somehow though (aside from the coldsore virus, which I've had since I was young) I have a clean bill of health - sexual and otherwise. I'm extraordinarily lucky, and no longer take this luck forgranted.

Isnt it? Most people who have AIDS got it from same-sex contact with a man, sharing needles or they were born with AIDS already.

This is SO wrong in MANY ways what the fuck anyone can get AIDSa dn there are also OTHER STDS too. If you already fucked a bunch of chicks not using a condom before posting this i would go get tested. Just saying.

Anyhow I am a female my self and I never let a man fuck me without a condom ever. Except my fiance we never once used a condom till a year later and we only used it one or two times... would I do this again with another man? No because after doing it once I went nuts thinking I could be sick and thankfully niether of us are but still dotn risk it.

I don't agree with you on this one. Everybody has their own views on abortion, but comparing pregnancy to an STD is a little cynical. Pregnancy goes away, eventually - too many STDs don't.

I always thought that the other STDs were very weak (comparing to AIDS) but I just did a google search the stuff I found surprised me. I didnt know you could get Hepatitis from unprotected sex.

So, I guess, AIDS not my only worry anymore.

Also, although statistics for it are very low in comparison to other S.T.D.'s, reports of increasing cases of Syphilis in recent times(2011-date) have been made in several countries including Europe, N.Z and the U.S.. Also, treatment resistant strains of Gonorrhea have been found worldwide, so its well worth researching and keeping safe. Not to scaremonger but forewarned is forearmed and all that. ;)

Genital ulcer diseases, like syphilis, can occur in both male and female genital areas that are covered or protected by a latex condom, as well as in areas that are not covered. Correct and consistent use of latex condoms can reduce the risk of syphilis, as well as genital herpes and chancroid, only when the infected area or site of potential exposure is protected.

Condoms lubricated with spermicides (especially Nonoxynol-9 or N-9) are no more effective than other lubricated condoms in protecting against the transmission of STDs. Use of condoms lubricated with N-9 is not recommended for STD/HIV prevention. Transmission of an STD, including syphilis cannot be prevented by washing the genitals, urinating, and/or douching after sex. Any unusual discharge, sore, or rash, particularly in the groin area, should be a signal to refrain from having sex and to see a doctor immediately.

based on that info alone, no

i have had sex with girls unprotected many times...a few of them were even "hookups", unplanned and did not happen again

however in each one of those cases, i knew the girl well enough to assume she was clean based on her lifestyle (not trashy or slutty)

and i STILL ended up with HPV

so never again

I want to say no, but in the heat of the moment I have been reckless on a few occasions. Those few occasions the girl was fresh out of residential treatment centers that would treat all treatable forms of STDs and were on some sort of contraceptive (pill or shot). So my answer I guess is "yes" but it is purely circumstantial (more times with condom than not by far).
