Would you ever try to quit if..

to elaborate a little more on that study:

there were two groups of rats given the choice between cocaine and food/water. one group was in a large cage with other rats, natural features, toys, etc. the other rats were locked in individual cages with nothing to do except self-administer cocaine or food/water. the rats in the natural habit with other things to do did fine. it was only the rats who were isolated that chose to self-administer to the point of over-dose.
 
ya honestly id get bored of it if i shit was that easy to get and just there

Can you top out on heroin? Like, getting to the point where you literally cannot get high because your tolerance is so ridiculous, or you can't shoot up enough to get high because that amount would actually kill you? That'd be damn annoying.

How about an unlimited source of free, high grade heroin, but its only available on Fridays? And Tuesdays.

I think the only thing that would stop me from continuing to use would be the stupid amount of vein damage.

of course i wouldn't quit-but i'd use what used to be dope money to make sure my funeral/wake was a bash and a half cause the only place i'm headin in this scenario is for the old dirt nap
 
I wouldn't quit... At first.

With unlimited drugs I'd like to think that like a lot of the rich and famous folks I'd go stupid on anything and everything for a very very long while and then, one day quite a while down the track, I'd probably quit mostly everything and go back to a soberish life.

Well that's what I'd like to think anyway.

Either that or I'd go as hard as i could for as long as i could until I ended up dead of an overdose.
 
I couldn't quit in that situation but I'd have to force myself to take days off, you know, in order to continue enjoying my free unlimited drugs.

No drug stays good unless you take breaks from it.
 
If it were opies, i'd personally try to stop a day or so every other week to empty my guts as it can get pretty nasty otherwise. Imagine being a rockstar or whatever where this is a plausbile situation that you could get almost anything anytime, i'd probably end up dead or in jail.
 
yea id take breaks, but it would be really fucking hard

or maybe, i would have every drug known to man, so i would rotate what i use each day, so i wouldnt build up much of a tolerance to anything and still stay high all the time
 
hell no y if i did it would only be to lower my tolerance for a short wile- id try ang quit drinking and tabacco but im trying and failing that now but weed no ill always like weed sry
 
if they were all free and i had an unlimited resource why would i quit?

No. I don't know if I'm going to quit while they aren't free and there is only a limited supply, so there is probably a 0.1% chance of me quitting with an endless free supply of drugs
 
I'd probably use whenever I felt like it. But at the same time I don't think I'd feel like using everyday. If it were constantly available it would be like peace of mind knowing I could get whatever buzz I wanted whenever I felt like it.

But I don't think I'd get to the point where I'd want to use all the time, however if things did get out of control, I'd quit. I wouldn't want to be high every day, but I would most likely indulge when the mood struck me. Kind of like how I like to eat junk food here and there but I won't get junk food 24/7.

Anyway I think I'm going to day dream about going to the pharmacy and picking up some needles, viles of ketamine, cocaine, and herion. and having a massive stash of pharm quality drugs sitting in my house at all times. Instead of a wine cellar, I'd have a drug cellar.

No, because money and lack of options are the main reasons drug use creates problems for me.

I'd be able to use safer drugs that are less likely to become problematic than other similar drugs that are cheaper and easier to get. Due to money and availability, I typically will use meth, heroin, sheooms, alcohol, weed and MXE, all of which are some of the more dangerous or addictive drugs in their categories IME, aside from weed, obviously. If I had unlimited, free access to anything,mI'd pretty much only use opium, GHB, weed, LSD, cocaine, and ketamine. These substances are the safest in their categories, the most useful for medical/spiritual reasons, the most euphoric, and the easiest to control my use of. Of course, at some point, I'd quit, because I will grow old and It will be unhealthy for me to continue using, or perhaps if I ever start a family, then I will quit so I can take care of them and not put them at risk.

yeahh...i think when i die, like right before, iam gonna do either a crazyy drug combo or just a huge dose of something and get that one last NEVER BEEN felt before high...lool
 
I would like to say that yes I would try to quit, but Im sure that would be insanely hard. However, I think certain drugs become so destructive after a while that even if you didn't have to pay for them, the consequences of continuing to use them would far outweigh the positive aspects (I'm thinking IV coke/crack, MDPV, and methamphetamine)
