Would you ever consider becoming a dealer?

Yeah, all the stuff that a dealer has to go through sucks. Like having to wait for people to show up. Driving around, especially with gas prices. And plus you have to worry about the law setting you up or something.

Just like everything else when having to do with drugs, dealing has its good and its bad. The fact that you have so much money in your pocket at all times and can always get fucked up for free! However, your level of paranoia is heightened, you really need to make sure you have trustworthy friends, you always have to be available, and you have to know when it's time to stop.

i once knew this dude that could get neverending pounds of shrooms. you know the rest...

I used to be.

It was fun for a while... until I started snorting up all my profits. :o

I just couldn't keep it under control. And it was SUCH an extra stress on my life.... keeping track of money, debts, chasing people up, having to be at home at certain times..... it shitted me. The brain space it took up too - always thinking about drugs, talking about drugs, blah blah blah... it's not a life of any normality.

I must admit it gives you a little buzz, a bit of a power trip kind of to begin with. But I am SO glad my little foray only lasted a few months. I was ending up broker than I began, with a nice little amphet habit to boot.

All under control now.

I'm amazed people would admit to this on a message board.

Also, I'd only do it if I could be high up on the foodchain. Also, I'd need to grow a thin moustache and be called "Sancho".

8( 8o :o

Why is that surprising? Is it my fairy avatar? ;)

I only dealt to a small group of friends and their friends , not like some massive cartel thing! :D It was only for a few months, and I worked a proper "9-5" job full-time throughout. Ah the double life of SLM...

Big mistake really, glad I'm out of it.

If you had moved up the ladder all that would have gone away...

*looks around the cybercafe suspiciously*
(I think the fat guy on computer #4 is a nark and I'm about to take him out with my shotgun :) )

I'd only deal to friends, eg buy in bulk and sell cheap, maybe make my drug use free, but i wouldn't try to profit off of it.

Nah, never. I've seen people get mixed up with it, and it's taken them so long to get out of it cos of all the associations they've made, plus alot of paranoid people out there thinking you'll snitch once you stop doin that shit

i dealt at the start, all of a sudden your the most popular boy around. Then i got sick n tired of deadbeats callin me all hours of the night or worse just coming around. .. oh yeah and the fact that i was consuming all of my profits.
Now i just got a small hydro setup n get rid of it in pounds immediatly....just for a bit of spendin cash...

i wouldnt call it dealing, but i have been middleman quite a few times for friends and some acquaintances.....if ever i wasnt, (there are a couple incidents that come to mind) then it lasted for only a short while and it was usually me helping somebody out. :) Either way, ive only really dealed with my close friends , would not want to any other way. Plus being a middle person is a mother fucking HASSLA sometimes...one has to be patient, understanding, tactful and SHREWD at the same time...its tough.

It depends what you mean by "sold drugs". I have provided friends with drugs for their cost price, like if I was going to buy E and my friend wanted some too I'd buy 2 more and pass them on in exchange for the money it cost me, no "service charge". In the eyes of the law thats dealing, but in reality, its not really, its just being friend.

I wonder if you could argue that you were holding it on trust for them, and whether that would get you out of it. Because strictly speaking you never had the beneficial interest at any point :P

Splitting the hair pretty thin there I think. They make a point of saying on almost every page of the UK governments offical drugs website www.talktofrank.com (complete farce of a website) that passing drugs onto friends is dealing. :\
