Would Vyvanse be safe for me?

I have a question regarding the useage of vyvanse in my personal situation. I've been diagnosed/labeled as having polysubstance dependence; basically an addiction to getting loaded... I've come to believe i'm adhd but I know very well how abusable some adhd meds are. But with vyvanse i've read the addiction/misuse potential is much lower than its predecessors. So basically would it be safe for me to be prescribed it?

By your own admittance "no!"

On the other hand... at one time I was Poly-substance abuse through every ROA .
I did rehab and still choose to be on Vyvanse and Subutex. They have both saved me from doing harder opiates or cocaine.
No one is perfect, but you're tempting yourself and you know it.
Hopefully you'll know when you can handle it too.

Do you have support?
Better to have a Rx right?
Would you be better off staying clean?
Do you think a doctor should diagnose the Add/ADHD first?

A doctor should definitely diagnose it, and honestly i've tried vyvanse maybe 3 times? It wasn't really all that recreational. It just makes me a great worker and a positive attitude. I don't really get "high". The main reason I would like to have a prescription is for unpleasant tasks such as work on a crappy day, school, etc.

If it helps at all i've never found the drugs to treat adhd very abusable. Usually they just make me insanely "in the zone". I don't become chatty and stuff, but I can feel a physical stimulation. The abuse potential to me is on par with Kratom... I'd just appreciate someone else's two cents.
