Misc Would this stop death from huffing?

since technically isn't the reason some people die from huffing due to it suffocating them since its heavier then air and they can't get it out of there lungs would huffing upside down make it so you can suffocate from it? Personally I have never done it ,but it occurred to me wouldn't this help?
 
I doubt anyone will be able to answer this question conclusively. It will all be speculation.

Nonetheless.....im sure there will be many a interesting post.
 
I just kinda thought that this might help lessen death and ya I doubt anyone can really truthfully chime in on this.
 
Im sure it has the potential to save lives if someone actually knew what they were talking about, but yea, like I said, I dont think anyone has tried this before.

But, actually, ive never heard that huffing kills you because it is "heavier" than air and causes you to suffocate since you can't get it out of your lungs. I would think our lungs are powerfull enough to push out what it sucked in.
 
I just remember I was watching an intervention thing on huffing and the fumes are heavier then air and kids have died due to suffocation from 'em and well I'm still alittle bit trippy on robitussin another thing kids do that I was wondering about >> but it occurred to me if this would help ,but I still would never try huffing just kinda scares me the only two drugs ill never try are huffing/heroin
 
Its actually "people" that do these things....not just kids.....there are a shitload more adult "huffers" out there than you realize apparently.

Also, im pretty sure people dont die because they cant blow the shit out of there lungs because its too heavy. if that were the case, everyone who has ever huffed anything would die on the first try because they wouldnt be able to get the chemicals out of there lungs. And thats just not true. Most people who huff solvents/or whatever survive. Allthough, I will admit, many die, but I am pretty sure its not because of the reason you stated.

So you will do meth but not heroin?
 
No I just remember some of them just cant get it out 'cause there lungs aren't strong enough and its too heavy and ya it said 1/3rd of the people who try it die on there first time but just like alot of other shit that might just be government propaganda ,but I think it actually it is heavier than air
 
No thing is I don't get addicted to shit crazy huh and I have done meth it's just I remember hearing that heroin is much ore potent and much easier to od on and they have found people already dead with the needle still in there arm or the pipe still in there mouth so that just kinda freaks me out
 
"pipe still in there mouth"?? thats meth not heroin. theres no such thing as a 'heroin pipe".

I guarantee you, meth is much worse than heroin. And thats coming from someone who cant even get addicted to stimulants(like meth) because he prefers opiates(like heroin) and was even a heroin addict for years. i STILL think meth is much worse.

Meth is an actual toxic chemical to put in your body. Opiates are NOT toxic to you, there are not harmful to your body....all the danger in using opiates like heroin is in he addiction potential, and someone who is an addict not taking care of themself hygeine wise so that they waste away slowly. Meth, on the other hand, actually DOES destroy your body/brain.
 
the only good thing I could see coming from huffing while hanging upside down, is the good drugs youll get after you pass out, fall and bust your head open/break your neck
 
I used it once settle down and yes you can smoke heroin dude its very common actually people smoke heroin a lot actually I know people that do and I doubt you would pass out for leaning against a corner upside down huffing then going right side up again
 
Dude...I know you can smoke heroin but you use a piece of flat foil to "chase the dragon"....you dont use a pipe. Well, I guess technically you could use a pipe but it wouldnt work very well at all, and in all my years of being a heroin addict ive never once heard of someone smoking heroin out of a pipe. the reason it wouldnt work is that you cant put a direct flame to the heroin or it would destroy all the opiate alkaloids inside the heroin. you need to "vaporize" it.....hence...no heroin pipe.
 
You can expel the gasses from your lungs regardless of their weight, you simply die because you're not giving your body enough oxygen, and usually the gasses people huff are poisonous, so if you don't die from suffocation, the gasses themselves will kill you.

I would never believe "facts" given on a public show like that, they don't cite sources and could be completely wrong. I've talked with many people that do interventions, and even though they help people's addictions, they sure don't know what they're talking about half the time.

I'd say the best harm reduction would simply be don't huff gasses and chemicals, just get better drugs. If someone wants to get high that badly, smoke some weed.

And I'd have to agree that meth is worse than heroin. I've done heroin off and on before, and while addiction was hard to avoid, it had no ill effects on my body if I kept my usage in control. Meth is pretty much impossible to use without running into problems, no matter how sparingly you use it.

Edit: Me and my bud tried using a meth pipe to smoke heroin... it's not practical, the inside of the pipe gets all blacked up and you can' tell how much you're smoking/ just burning and wasting. If you want to smoke heroin, use aluminum foil and "chase the dragon."
 
I have seen people use glass tubes to smoke heroin ,but ya only a few and I do know what chasing the dragon is why do you guys assume I don't know this stuff I never said what kinda pipe either I never said a normal pipe you would use a glass pipe of some sort to smoke opium and I'm just wondering but would you be able to hot knife heroin? 'cause that I don't know
 
yea, sry jack5296, we dont mean to like team up on you and accuse you as wrong or anything, but this site is dedicated to giving correct information, and I think you were just a little to quick to believe certain things you saw on TV. Alot of us have alot of personal experience with these issues, and many of us have done research as well.
I would listen to nik's post up there^^.
I am glad we were able to clear some information up for you.

heroin is not opium first of all. do you know the difference between heroin and opium? im not trying to be rude, i just am really interested in knowing if you actually know the difference.

also....if you read my post you would have read that you use NO PIPE for heroin.....you use a flat sheet of foil. that, in no way, can be interpreted as a pipe.
 
Sorry I didn't mean opium I know there is a difference between heroin and opium big time that was a mistake to put opium and I have seen people use pipes I don't know people who use a pipe relationally for heroin ,but I have seen people use pipes for heroin but not often at all and I did say it might just have been government propaganda dude and I said that I may have been off because of that
