Would taking amphetamine on a full stomach make it weaker?

Thread title says it all. I just ate a small dinner, and after took some 4-FA gelcapped (dexedrine/adderall/meth users can answer this too). Would the food in my stomach make the effects weaker?

Meth gives me an upset stomach once the postnasal drip is down.

I try to have a little something to eat beforehand to prevent upset stomach.

I don't have any problems with the effectiveness of the meth if I have a bite to eat before I nose it plus I don't suffer as much stomach trouble.

I took it orally though, so it'll be absorbed through my semi-full stomach rather than my nose.

IMO you should eat something before taking amphetamines always. The drug itself doesn't 'lose' any potency so to speak, but the rate it is absorbed will be slowed and it will take a little bit longer to come on. Of course rapid absorption is desirable, but it's a small price to pay for the amount problems it solves.

Update: I regret taking it. I still felt it, it was just much weaker than normal. Oh well, try again later when my stomach empties I guess.

Much weaker seems odd, I've never really noticed that much difference empty stomach or not for any substance but then I usually allow powders to dissolve in my mouth before washing them down, So I guess most of it is bypassing my stomach anyhow

For sure! As with a lot of drugs though.

If it does cause reduced effects, I'd highly doubt there would be any substantial reduction. And tbh if one was that worried about it, there are other ROAs!

Majority of people don't (or can't) eat while on amphets. I know personally it is at least 24hrs until I have my next meal, and even at that it's grudgenly just because I know I should. lol
