Would Steroids Be a Good Choice for me?

I have often wondered this:

I suffer from opiate addiction. I am not currently in active addiction thank god! But, I have decreased energy, lack of libido and i'm only 20 years old. I used to be very active as well, playing football my whole life...and starting outside linebacker my senior year on a team that went to state champsionship and lost. We were one of the best defenses in the state only giving up like 4.7 points per game or something like that. I know testosterone gets lowered by opiate addiction, and I feel like that may have happened to me.

Would doing a short cycle with steroids help me out? Or would it be better to just stay away.

No.

I would recommend going to the doctor and getting hormonal bloodwork. Get full panel.

then if test is low I'd recommend going on D-aspartic acid and a relatively high-fat diet. Selenium. Vitamin E. Vitamin D. And Clomiphene 25mg everyday.

That should put your test in a great range if your nuts will still work. You may have to stay on all this for awhile (forever possibly).

I'm assuming that these supplements you mentioned are essential in helping the body produce it's own testosterone naturally? My family doctor also happens to be a suboxone doctor, so my next appointment I will get some bloodwork done. I'm pretty sure that this is a side effect from my opiate use, considering I was very active growing up and the past 2 years have not been that active.

so you are on subuxone still? Yes this will decrease your test levels. If you cant get off subuxone then follow my advice..you should get some increase...if you can get off then still follow my advice youwill get much more increase.

I'm guessing that the symptoms you are describing are not from low test, although they could be. A more likely cause would seem to possibly be depression where you were self-medicating with opiates.

And doing a cycle of test would only give you very temporary effects of the test you inject, it's not long lasting.

Get a full blood panel like someone else said and take a depression and anxiety questionnaire. Write down the symptoms your experiencing and tell them to your doctor. Let him diagnose you.

Full blown opiate addiction has shown to decrease free test levels in men drastically. You ever been on methadone ? I became the most pathetic joke of a human being bro, at fucking 22 years old. I couldn't be fucked with anything and it paid me back severely. I can't find it now but I had a study on MMT males between 30-35 where test levels were so drastically low. I can vouch first hand.

Bloodwork , come back with it and let's talk. Until then, cycling will simply make your hormones even more unstable. Unless you are planning to never come off of testosterone and have that sort of access I have to say bloodwork before anything.

Is clomiphene's beneficial effect only temporary while you're on it, then? No "re-start" of natural testosterone production?
