Would petydine (Meperidine) do anyhelp during h withdrawal?

Well, the title says it all, can i use it for like 3-4 for days and feel no withdrawals?

Well it does nothing for morphine withdrawal atleast for me. The problem is that it's not a typical opioid and due to it's toxic effects that accumulate you can't take more then 400mg's a day for 3 days. Even that is pushing it especially if you are seizure prone at all.

Ive eaten it had it IM from a doc as well as IV and it did nothing on any occasion for wd's. Codeine is alot better in my opinion atleast.

Of course. You just have to take the right dose for yourself. I'd aim for simply not being sick instead of wasting it away on trying to get loaded. You'll thank me later when you have a bunch left after the withdrawals and run out of H again later.

-edit: Droid is right. Speaking of which, I forgot how much this stuff reminds me of tramadol.
Chances are, it would still work on the OP though.
I can still get a "half-nod" off it.

Isn't Demerol just a weak short acting opioid? I feel like if your not going to use methadone or bupe, than you should try something else with a longer half life, I heard dihydrocodiene is real good for withdrawal. Gabapentin really really helps btw

Dextermeth: It's about as shitty as tramadol for me maybe even shittier. I only get the anti-cholinergic side effects from demerol now so even IV it only feels like i took a dose of diphenhydramine or something. It does go nice with morphine to add a boost but on it's own pure shit.
