In my experience methylpheidate is most euphoric when you take a moderate oral dose and then snort a fuckload as it comes on. Concerta is pretty shit in that you can't snort it and by passing the time delay is a cunt. If you up your dose a little then it basically will give the same high as a lower dose of ritalin but last a fair bit longer.

It is the same drug so at the end of the day the effects are the same, concerta is just less desirable because there are more measures to prevent abuse.

Bypassing the time-release mechanism is also quite easy, if you know how the pill is constructed.

First, cut and peel off the outside coating with a razor blade, or x-acto knife. You will be left with a pile of shavings and a cylindrical pill with three colors; a dark brown/black end, a short, faint pink end, and a white segment in between. The white part contains almost all of the methylphenidate, though I seem to recall reading that there was a small quantity contained in the outside coating, so it doesn't hurt to take the shavings with the eviscerated pill.

Next, cut the pill into three pieces by color, leaving you with a pink sliver, a white chunk, and a black chunk. To defeat the wax matrix, you need to cut the white section into around 8-12 pieces and then swallow these with the shavings and the remaining two extremities (because usually its hard to completely cut off the white portion, and one or both ends will have a little bit of the white portion attached.) and swallow immediately.Parachuting or gelcaps are unnecessary as long as you swallow quickly; holding the pill fragments in your mouth causes the wax to melt and your mouth to end up coated in with a bitter taste that takes a long time to wash away. Chopping it up this way takes about 3-5 minutes per pill, and the effects start around 30-40 min after consumption. Without destroying the time release, the recreational value of Concerta is minimal, so its time well spent.

Also, one word of warning for those unfamiliar with the Concerta preparation; no mater how much you crush or chop the white wax matrix, snorting that or any part of the pill is a VERY BAD idea. I did this once, before I fully appreciated the longevity of the wax matrix. It produced no effect, and clogged up my right nostril with enough melted wax that I felt like I'd snorted a candle for the rest of the night. This preparation can only be used orally!

I dunno I chopped a pill up with a knife and separated just the white stuff, crushed it up and railed it.. Ya it felt like someone shoved a glue stick up my nose but I was pretty damn high. I wouldn't repeat because I was diggin shit out of my nose all night, but I'm not one too keen on stims anyways (I'm all about the psychs: mush, mdma and k), so I could see some people enjoying this.. I was pretty jacked off about 80mg.

Mmmmm....
I was just wandering around and wondered if an electric coffee grinder would be of any help...
Unless the wax is too thick, the grinder should make short work of the pill, bringing you fine, snortable dust. That powder may still clog your nose, tough.
