Opioids Would Nosebleed help absorption?

Hi. I am asking this question on behalf of a patient of mine. If someone had a substance that he was going to snort, is it possible that causing a nosebleed ahead of time help absorption in any way?

If it's something that is snortable in the first place I'd imagine a cut would only get in the way of absorption. The glass in cocaine thing is a myth. A patient of yours? haha

Here is my source: I just smashed my friends face into the coffee table as he went to snort his line.. he's not any higher than if i wouldn't have done it, but thanks for the excuse to do it!
