Would Guanfacine cancel out the effects of a stimulant like Wellbutrin

Okay guys well I am asking this because it only seems like stimulants help me with my confidence and I am on Guanfacine along with Wellbutrin right now, and Guanfacine is a sedative that is meant to help with hyperactivity. But it doesn't seem like Wellbutrin is helping me with my confidence at all like it is notorious for helping people with, could it be the Guanfacine that is making it non-effective? Thank you so much everyone!!!

Go back to see your GP. Hyperactivity + anxiety (by "confidence" do you mean maybe social anxiety?) isn't all that uncommon. I'd go back to your GP and explain your concerns / the effects your experiencing and possible even get a referral to a psychiatrist (or psychologists in which cases if you and your psychologist believe pharmacotherapies are required than return to your GP with the information/suggestions given to you by the psychologist for drug prescription).

The two drugs are somewhat counteracting each others actions so a change maybe required. However as I said your GP/psychiatrist are the ones who know you, your body and psychological state the best, they really are in the best position to suggest alternatives.

Good luck and don't give up! :)
