Yes you can get high from eating resin. I believed different but I have been medical for over 2 years and have learned all this and tried myself.
Weed has to be heated before it can absorb. Which is why smoking it works. If you have a volcano you have probably learned this yourself. You can eat your saved up vaped weed and get ridiculously high. The highest I have ever been was when I took a ton of vaped weed and made it in to butter then rice crispies. I seriously got so high I felt black out drunk and was borderline hallucinating. I passed out at 7 in the day, woke up at 12 and was thinking "Whoa I can barely see everything is so colorful and moving like on mushrooms". I then noticed that it was 12 the next day not 12 at night and felt very strange.
I have hooked up volcano to a bong and saved the water that turns gold. I drank this for a good buzz that was like smoking a couple bowls.
You can drink regular bong water that is smoked out of but it is sooooo gross that you would puke of the nastiness way before you got to mind blowing highs like I did.
The founder of Spocannabis will take his vaped weed and fill capsules. Then go and eat 5-20 of them and bam. This is where I learned that it could be ate without being bonded to butter.
So If you have really good resin and you take tons of pills of it you will get high because it has been exposed to the heat that moves around the molecule making it absorbable.
If you want to eat buds straight up you have to turn over to around 220 maybe 230 and let everything get super dry without burning. This weed will get you higher than the vaped weed.

When working with resin a little heat can be applied to make the material more viscous.

If you look hard you can find exactly what molecules move when you heat up weed that makes the THC absorbable.
I don't think there is anything wrong with that care to elaborate? I grow weed and have probably performed more experiments to prove myself in these than anybody else here.
The only problem is he is gonna have to eat a lot of resin to get high. The burps would be real gross.

yeah im planning on it. my scale broke last week 
so idk exactly how much i have. but its for sure a lot.... yeah i can handle bad burps. i imagine taking a shit the next day will be quite unpleasant too.

Can't believe i'm the only person saying this but, it's only fucking weed. Take a step back and look at what your considering doing.

The resin certainly has active material in it, but it also has a lot of nasty shit (PCAs and other combustion products) that normally condense out on the inside of the pipe (to a greater extent than the THC). It is hence more unhealthy than weed, probably by a significant margin. PCAs, the tars produced by incomplete combustion, are carcinogens.
You do not have to cook it to activate it - the cooking is normally needed to decarboxylate it (the vast majority of what we talk about as THC in the plant is THC-COOH, with a carboxylic acid group on the 2-position - that falls off at elevated temperatures). Since you've already smoked the material that is in the resin, you don't need to worry about that.
However, oral bioavailability will be poor (and more importantly, unpredictable) unless it is coadministered with something oily - preferably you would mix the two prior to consuming the resin).

All that technical discussion aside, I have trouble imagining being so poor and desperate that i'd smoke fucking resin, let alone eat it. There are more preferable options.... (buy weed, or failing that one of those blends, or failing THAT, buy some pure JWH/CP over the internet and smoke it on foil, or just stay sober). Any of those are probably better options than eating filthy resin, but it should work.

dude im going through light morphine WDs and i smoke weed every day and i dont notice. weed has always been a savior for me. i used to get it all for free cuz i ran a business but thats not going anymore so i have no income and low supplies
im not eating it... im putting it in pills.... i wont have to taste it at all. so theres nothing to lose.
and TheAzo thank you very much for the input but yes im still gonna go through with it. i guess i will mix it will oil first too. and ive been smoking for a long time legal blends and synthetics arent gonna do it proper.

bro - i'm the biggest PH this side of the west side, and i've been clean from weed for 2 weeks thanks to JWH (well and a drug test).
The shit's the real deal, smoke enough and you won't even know where you are sitting, much less if it was weed or not. I can understand not wanting to fuck with RCs, but they do work, and well.

I wouldn't mix with oil because there is no point. Just increasing volume of stuff that you will be filling capsules with. Unless somehow it makes going in the capsules way easier which I doubt.
I would just get my fingers wet and make resin balls and cram 'em in there. But I would be seriously sick of those nasty burps.
