would a dry extraction of trichomes be considered hashish

basically what I'm asking, would shaking dried cannabis in a jar topped with panty hose or a similar straining utensil, then heating and pressing the trichomes to form a sort of "brick hash" be considered true hashish or more of a compressed keif? If there are similar threads i have not found them, nor have i found a direct answer to my question, so please if you are a moderator with all the answers, please answer my simple question before closing my thread. thanks.

Yes it would be considered hash. Any compressed trichome however you've extracted them can be considered hash.

thank you very much good sir, I seem to remember seeing a documentary about hashish and i think they were using the same method in some Asiatic mountain range, which led me to the conclusion that YES it was indeed hash, but i was simply unsure. thanks for the input.
