ok, so ive been dopesick for the last 5 days..ive been IV'ing 1-2 30mg Roxies/Bags of H a day for what seems like years.. Well now i have to quit because i have drained my bank account, my girlfriends bank account, and drained every other source of money but anyways, im basically on day 5 of withdrawals and i still dont feel one bit better( all the shit i read on here said i would be over the worst at day 3 which couldnt be any farther from the truth)

So about an hour ago, my friend calls me and tells me he is looking to pick up a bunch and said he would hook me up with a few if i can middleman the deal for him. i initially said no, but texted him back like 5 mins later saying i would try..and now ever since the call ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT is getting this guy some pills, but i dont want to reset W/d's...

Would 1 little 30mg Roxie, reset 5 days of withdrawal and i have to restart the misery all over again? Like if i didit , when i started withdrawaling again would i basically be right back at Day 1?

Not sure about the physiological part of it, but really, it's the willpower that's more important here. Just say no this time, stash it away or chuck it out. Having the attitude of 'oh, just this one time won't do any harm' isn't gonna do you any good in the long-term if you're seriously trying to quit.

How far it would set you back probably depends on how far into withdrawal you are, to what degree your symptoms have eased off, and what effect the dose you're thinking of taking would ordinarily have. Is it enough to get you high or keep you from withdrawal normally for instance, or would it normally only take the edge off. Regardless of that it will almost certainly wind the clock back to some extent. It might not be back to day 1, I couldn't possibly say, but taking it will almost certainly prolong the remainder of the withdrawal. 5 days in you must have done the worst of it. Is it worth dragging what's left out for the sake of a little momentary relief? I don't think so. Don't give in when you've struggled this far.

i dont think it will reset the w/d. i mean ppl taper off opiates & benzos. kinda the same

are u taking loperamide? its an otc opiate that doesnt cross the BBB used to treat diarrhea. suppose to help with w/d too.
benzos help if ya can get them. otc antihistamines are good for sleeping. I like promethazine the most. theres always codeine too.

It will set you back VERY far..if not so much physically I guarantee it will mentally. Believe me.. there won't just be one day. It will be yesterday, and today, and tomorrow, and the next day. Until the financial means runs out.. b/c that's all it sounds like is stopping you, your bank account. So if you want to quit, you haev to not middle man it or you;'ll end up doing that bullshit all the time. And its really stupid..you can get caught selling narcotics just so you get a lil dose. You'll regret that big time.

5 days is monumental bro!! Pat your self on the back youve already made it so far.. just stick it out. You might nto feel better but I bet 2-3 more days you'll be feeling a noticeable difference. It takes time but look how long it took to get where you are, so it dont get gfixed in a day ya know?
