Worst sexual experience during Oxycodone withdrawal

Hello,

After six months of 30mg of daily oxycodone I started a fast taper.

After a week I reduced my dose to 20mg and my libido came back, however I had the worst sexual experience of my life.

Feels good to get some sexual desire again but yesterday I couldn't last a minute before I came.
The worst part of it was a very intense painful sensation in my penis as I was ejaculating. After finishing the whole area felt extremely sensitive.

I still have a couple of weeks according to my plan of quitting opiates (post-surgery treatment) but that was scary.

Anybody having a similar reaction during withdrawal?

I hope it's temporary.

It’s almost definitely temporary and that’s not uncommon at all. When you go through fast withdrawal the sensitivity and ability to orgasm quickly go through the roof. Keep in mind that you’re in a very sensitised state at the moment because you’re still going through withdrawal. It’ll get a lot better & you’ll start enjoying your increased sensitivity.

That is a common side effect of wd that will go away pretty quickly/ I got this everytime i stopped opiates

It’s because all of your senses are heightened after being “numbed” by the pain killings for x amount of time. Totally normal. Everything will get back to normal eventually but it’s a long road.

I get that when I drastically reduce my oxycodone dose, so I guess it's normal.
