Worst Actors....

-Rob Schnider - please just make him go away. He was funny on SNL years ago but his sad attempt at movie comedy is just pathetic.
-Rebecca Romijn-Stamos - I just watched Femme Fatale a few nights ago. While it wasn't a really bad movie, she just didn't seem to have a firm grasp of acting. Maybe it was just her voice :)
-Jean-Claude Van Dam - Go away!
-Liz Hurley - eye candy
-Madonna - no
-Russel Crowe - :p Don't care if he's won a damn oscar.
-Julia Roberts - same goes for this cow
Sarah Michelle Gellar - 8(
-Tom Cruise - too bad Scientology couldn't teach him how to act
-Ben Afflect - I have stuffed animals who are better actors
-Demi Moore - no
-Rosie O'Donnel - go away
-Chris Rock - why?!
-Keanu Reeves - despite having alot of similar roles and characters I will still always love the work that he did in Little Buddha. Go Keanu! :) Oh and I am quite fond of Bill + Ted haha!

ANY movie where either Adam Sandler or Meg Ryan are onscreen for even a milisecond is unwatchable. The stars of ANAL INTRUSION 6 have more acting range than these 2 dimbulbs--Sandler being the worse becasue he is a true cancer on film.

Sandra Bullock
Keanu Reeves
Steven Segal - all his movies are Hard To Watch

Martin Lawrence is a shocker. If anyone has seen his efforts with Steve Zahn in National Security you'd want to personally murder everyone associated with creating the movie.

I know I posted my list earlier, so allow me to add the following names to my list of terrible actors:

Vin Diesel - Suffers from Stallone syndrome, typified by the "I'm-incoherent-because-I-sound-like-I-have-a-mouthful-of-dick" dialogue. He's also pathetically one-dimensional. At least Stallone's Rocky movies had some dramatic appeal to it, giving him some shred of credibility.

Kristanna Loken - Pretty to look at, but she made a rather pathetic film debut in Terminator 3 with flat acting and the little dialogue she had was stale. Then again, this is a woman who started her career in terrible short-lived TV series like "Mortal Kombat" and "Baywatch: Hawaii."

David Spade - While 90% of the American population has grown to loathe Adam Sandler and his overdone man-child brand of humor, I developed a hatred for David Spade and his snide, arrogant smart-ass routine. Watching his form of "comedy" just makes me want to punch him in the throat. To this day, I refuse to watch any film or TV show starring David Spade.

Luke and Owen Wilson - Call these brothers the Craptastic Duo. They've got stinkers left and right. Between the two of them, they got Home Fries, I Spy, Shanghai Noon, Zoolander, My Dog Skip, and Shanghai Nights. The only thing that saved Old School from Luke Wilson's revoltingly bland performance was Vince Vaughan and Will Ferrell's supporting roles.

Anakin is supposed to be a brash and arrogant individual, not a whiney bitch-boy. Not to mention on-screen chemistry between Portman and Christiensen totaled ZERO.
Truer words were never spoken....I wanted to SLAP that boy continuously...he was just soooo fucking whiney and not even attractive, I feel sorry for poor Natalie!

Others:

Jennifer Love Hewitt (she had the audacity to remake Breakfast at Tiffany's and of course bombed it)
Any models -- STICK TO MODELING!!
Madonna (I love her but she sucks at acting)
Ben Affleck (for the most part)
Buffy and her film endeavours (hot as fuck but can't act)

I also HATE cameron diaz, but I have to give her credit for her excellent performance in Being John Malkovich. Similarly I hate Travolta but he did a good job in Primary Colours.

^^vin??

i belive i have writtten proof of you praising him

so shush

bandwagon :P

You have an article I wrote about Triple X over a year ago. Since then, he's made Knockaround Guys and A Man Apart, both playing the same stale character. At least Arnold had a sense of charisma that kept his action roles continually appealling. Vin's got nothing. Opinions change with time and, in the span of a year full of shit movies, Vin's fallen off my list of favorite actors.

Luke and Owen Wilson

:(

i have a lot of time for both of these guys. sure, they've both got a couple of clunkers on their resumes. but, they also have:

Bottle Rocket
Meet the Parents
Rushmore
The Royal Tenenbaums

all of which are great movies with great work by the wilsons.

Frankly I can't say most well-known actors are generally bad. I know I couldn't do what they do. It probably would be a much better thread if it was a "Worst Performances on Film" thread. Most of the actors mentioned do have bad performances, but are hardly bad actors. To deem an actor with some bad performances as one of the worst would not do the worst justice. Not everyone can achieve what Christopher Lambert has achieved.

I'll throw one out...nick cage in "8MM"...one of most dull, overdramatic, and anti-climatic performances I've seen in a while. Just watching him watch the snuff film is pretty damn hideous. When focused...one cannot deny the acting ability Cage has, but he failed to give a valuable performance in this film, in my own humble opinion.

Hehe. Well I guess he just doesn't do it for me. I don't see what the big deal about his acting is. I'm not touched, amazed, left breathless, heart-warmed, or even stunned by his preformances. He reminds me alot of a surley drunken pirate too. Haha sorry, I just dont enjoy his acting or his screen presence. Something about it rubs me the wrong way. When I hear about a Russel Crowe movie coming up or someone suggests renting one I groan or sometimes laugh.

He's not Affleck bad, just bad on a different level IMO. Oh my, I'd better stop writing bad things about him before he comes and beats me up!

2 thumbs down ;)

Oh ok, he was ok in Gladiator.

I thought he was great in A Bueatiful Mind and thoughly deserved best actor honors, but somehow they decided that Denzel was better. Very weird. Gladiator was only an average film and his award really only came because Hollywood couldn't find much quality that year. Another great Russell Crowe film is LA Confidential. He has been a bit hit and miss, but that's hardly uncommon.

Whoa there tiger, I never said that Captain Blotto was believable or even that good! I said he was *OK* ;) Personally I enjoyed Arnie's preformance in Conan the Barbarian about a billion times more than I enjoyed Russel Crowe in Gladiator.

Gladiator was just the only movie of his I can remember seeying that didn't leave me feeling extremely bored with afterwards. Wasn't the best movie ever but hey, some parts were kinda cool and some of the fight scenes were very well done and exciting.

I can understand if people do like him and enjoy his acting though. Im sure many, many others find merit where I find boring, bland, and mediocre acting and that he has tons of supportive fans out there just waiting to feast thier hungry eyes on another box office gem, courtesy of Russ. It's just my personal preference :)

I think Arnie's performance in 'Hercules in New York" was wonderful. =D If anyone has seen it you'll have to agree with me.
