Opioids Worse constipation: heroin or oxycodone?

So its basically all there in the title. For people who have abused (or used on a regular basic) both these narcotics, which do you believe causes the more intense constipation.

Just to be clear I believe it is oxycodone, and when I was using that my tolerance was most certainly smaller so there is probably even more of a marked difference. And yes I am aware that the constipation from heroin is in essence the same as constipation from morphine. So for those who have used morphine and oxycodone, but not heroin, feel free to opine as well..

Any opiate that you take high, overlapping doses on a daily basis will do it to ya! I've never really done oxy all that much, but I'd assume it's not as bad as heroin because it's shorter acting and if there's any window of time that you're backed up from opiates and your levels drop to a certain point, nature is gonna call.

In reality though, someone with a high oxy prescription who was actually taking it on the designated schedule would probably experience worse constipation. Most heroin users are bound to have a stretch where they're starting to get sick, and that's all it takes...I'd say methadone takes the cake over anything.

IMHO the prescription opiates cause me the most constipation. I'm going through it now. I try to eat as many apples as I can and drink lots of apple juice. That helps me out. There is discomfort while you digest, but the end result is an empty ass.
