Hello all, I am new and I have a quick question. Any feedback would be appreciated so much.

Last Saturday I took around 4 points of Molly and I had a great roll. However, I haven't quite recovered and I'm a bit worried. This was my 4th time doing MDMA (first time in about 7 months) and it was by far the most I've taken. For the past week, I've had sort of a dull headache, I've been feeling dull overall, and my hands and feet have had this tingling sensation. I had a horrible comedown yesterday (about 6 days after taking it)...which seems delayed and odd. My jaw is also somewhat sore/tingling. My main concern is that I've done some sort of permanent, irreversible damage to my serotonin receptors and/or brain. After talking to many people, most think this is highly unlikely considering the circumstances. Has anyone had a similar experience? What do you think? Have I simply just depleted a lot of serotonin and is it just going to take some time to replenish this? Or should I be more concerned? This adverse reaction just seems kind of weird and intense...

Seriously, thanks so much for any feedback. It means A LOT.

You're just being paranoid...straight up. I'm not trying to be condecending or smart or anything. Whatever you're feeling will disipate with time. Just be patient. There's no way you did any permanent damage rolling only 4 times...especially with that much time in between. Give it another week or so and see how you feel.

Just give it time, you'll be fine. You took a kind of high dose, which can definitely make the MDMA hangover worse.

Yeah, what the previous posted have said. This is mostly all in your head, as the MDMA is out of your system, and after your 4th use you're not going to get brain damage unless you do something silly - which might I add, taking 4 points (so I assume 400mg) is fairly silly. You shouldn't be dosing that high. As well, did you test your MDMA? You could have taken 400mg of some random chemical that could have fucked your brain permanently.

But you're most likely just paranoid... If you have a real concern for your health, go see your doctor.

Yeah I know it was silly. I just got caught up in the moment. And I completely understand that the MDMA should be out of my system. However, these affects aren't mental. I'm legitimately feeling them. In terms of a random chemical, I had other friends who took the same stuff and they are fine.

So I suppose my main question is: how much time should I give my recovery before seeing somebody? Can negative effects last for several weeks? Maybe my system is just shocked? I'd love to see a doctor, but that will likely cost tons of money (considering its my brain) and possibly mean getting my parents involved...

^Chill out!!! Getting your parents and doctors involved is a LAST resort. Are the effects you're experiencing getting worse? If not, then there's no reason to rush or jump to conclusions. Give yourself another couple weeks...AT LEAST. I'd be shocked if you weren't starting to feel better looking back on this as silly.

And, please, don't do any more ecstasy.

We all go through a really bad come down at point of are use, I remember one time I was sick for a week straight after a come down, and I mean throwing up, dizzy, weak sick. I knew it was just my body trying to get all the chemicals out.

Another thing is, you can get panic attacks weeks after you have consumed drugs. It happens to everybody, even the experienced users.

Be alarmed but I'm sure your not going through anything serious.

I've been there before or most of us have. You just need to relax and do something to get your mind off it. Eat some fattening foods and workout for about 30 mins a days. It all just takes time.

you just need to eat healthy, take vitamins and get lots of sleep. keep away from the drugs and next time dont take so much molly!

Thanks a bunch for the replies. Everyone seems to think these symptoms are not much to worry about which is good to hear. It's just so crazy that this is doing this to me a week after the fact. When should I start to be concerned?

And yeah. Me and Ms. Molly will not be getting together anytime soon.

How can you be 100% that it is the mdma doing this to you a week after it, in my like 3 years of doing mdma at about once - twice a month, and out of my about 8 friends who have also done the same, none have ever had a comedown that has lasted longer than a day, of clean mdma pills. Nor have any had any side effects for more than 2 days after abusing mdma, i cant see how its still effecting you in anyway.

Ive done mdma 5 times in a week (in Ibiza) three years on the trot, and after 2 days of coming home I am almost completley fine again. Im sure its all in your head mate, but if you are really worried see a doctor but imo it will go away very soon...

I think its best for you stop taking drugs. Theres side affects at times. Do you expect to be fine every time you take it?
Give it time youre being to paranoid.

You'll get better, i've had other things happen to me after bingeing on e after long term use.. it goes away just try and keep yourself busy and not think about it

tbh i experience similar come downs everytime I take e
I'm always sick and scat the week after,
one time it got so bad I was laying on the ground rolling in pain.
but like everyone else has said, it will go away with time,

Molly and pills are hardly ever pure anymore, and you have no idea whats actually in them, unless you test it. so every comedown will be different, I suggest just trying to sleep it off. it'll go away eventually.

Hey Flippingtop, thanks for the message. I tried dialing you number but it didn't work. I'd like to message you but I'm barred from doing so because I'm not a bluelighter. Please feel free to contact me, it would mean a lot.

Headache.. tingling sensations, tight jaw.. sounds like magnesium deficiency..
Try finding a chelated magnesium supplement.
Or eat lots of spinach/ beans, buckwheat/ whole grains.
