I've been taking 2 mg of Lorazepam 3 times a week since October 5th. I am worried about withdrawal. I took my last dosage 15 minutes ago.

How long until withdrawal would should up? I know this is a shorter acting benzo. I am really freaked out. 8(

I've only taken it 3 times a week but at 2 mg and only since Oct. 5th.

I think you could stop abruptly and possibly suffer little/no withdrawal. But some would say play it safe and just taper your dose using Diazepam if that's available to you? I think 1mg Lorazepam is equivilant to 10mg Diazepam.

I'd try not to worry too much as you've been using a relatively low dose (albeit potent Benzo) for around 26 days and only 3 times per week. So all in all you've only actually taken around 12 seperate 2mg doses.

It should be relatively painless. Or maybe even completely pain free.

Thanks I'm just going to go cold turkey.

I know Lorazepam is a short acting benzo. So if I go 24 - 30 hours without withdrawal from when I took it 9 hours ago should I be okay?

It would be better if you had a few Diazepam just in case, but.... You should be ok. Make sure you keep some Lorazepam if by chance you do suffer unbearable withdrawal symptoms you can use them in emergency. I know Lorazepam is a very potent anti convulsant so look out for the signs.

3 times a week is nothing to worry about I was on lorazepam daily for 2 months 3 times a day and suffered no withdrawal.
but your only taking it 3 times a week which IMO you will get no withdrawal :)
