i got some gorilla glue number 4. i was saying that i don't get a lot of spicy tasting buds anymore and the best buds i used to get before weed became legal with dispensaries was usually spicy... the best stuff i used to get in Mass USA used to taste a lot like GG4.. i actually looked it up to see the flavor profile cause i was thinking it was very spicy with some hints of skunk.. apparently the review says pine and not skunk, but it says it's pepper flavored and this one has a good amount of flavoring of that.. these buds are pretty fluffy. all the stuff from the black market was super dense. neither of them are bad. the illegal stuff being denser probably made it a lot stronger, but this bud is definitely good. maybe i have a bigger tolerance now too. i really don't know. often times denser buds are butter, but that's not an absolute.

i got some platinum gorilla too by the same brand. platinum kush mixed with gg4, and the kush doesn't really make it any better imo.. much bigger fan of the gg4, but neither is bad.. i don't think i'm a huge kush fan.. gg4 isn't even my favorite at this point, but i'm loving the spice... cherry land is a sick flavor.. there are so many random ones that not a lot of people grow. some totally random flavors out there.. seems like the black market in my area was going for spice. i get so much more variety from dispensaries... stuff on the black market was either totally no flavor, a heavy spice, or a few other subtle flavors. outdoors were usually pretty good tasting, some was heady... but generally a lot of the indoor for years was like boring orange bud that didn't have much going on. of course it was cheaper, but this gg4 now was a crazy discount compared to even cheaper weed that was illegal. i pretty much had the same deals everyone on yahooka was posting all through out the US in the early 2000's.
 
There isn't alot of good GG4 out there.

As a breeder, here is my unasked advice on what to look for instead. Lol

Another good one is gg4 BX4

Today I took 3.5 grams of pens envy, a nice heavy winter day to enjoy some mushrooms.

I'm smoking on salmon river og and I also brought out some triangle kush

Have been smoking some Gorilla Zkittles recently. Fucking great strain, never had it before. Potent, upbeat heady buzz followed by a heavy relaxing stone an hour or so later. Love it, Think I'll make a lil' bedtime blunt with some right now in fact. Only got a couple grams left and it's so nice I sort of don't wanna use cos then it'll run out!

Saying that, I think I'll have couple bong rips of some heavy indica hash instead, bit of a waste using the GZ just to go to bed maybe

what do you call a good price?

I always get a shock when have to buy any from anyone other than my longterm contact (family rates). Saying that I'm happy to pay for quality, but not anything ridiculous. Usually find buying cheap is a false economy cos it either just doesn't do it for me or it's not potent enough so need to use more.

I might be a bit biased, but it's decent for the price, get what you're getting at this

Sorry, not sure what's sound or not? Didn't explicitly mention prices. Sorry tho if a bit over the ropes, thanks for mentioning it.
 
i was saying i had some gorilla glue #4 that was spicey/pepper taste and a lot of the better buds on the black market used to have a similar taste. i was saying there wasn't a lot of variety and listed a few flavors that were around when weed was illegal.

i got some sour chillz flower and i remember sour diesel used to be a common flavor too... that stuff was never really that potent and usually pricey so my dealers usually skipped it unless there wasn't a lot of options. i'm googling and it's supposedly like 19%thc average.

they definitely grew pretty much only the big name strains in my area though... only one time did i ever get any legit haze though i can tell from getting dispensary weed... there was never any lemon flavor on the black market for me either.. there is a ton of lemon and other weird strains that no one ever had back in the day with the dispensaries.

There's been some exquisite Black Ice crops making the rounds in my city (Black Domina x White Widow). Black Domina has always been one of my favorites, and Black Ice doesn't disappoint either. 👍

seems very potent given I've only had a few tokes EDIT yeah that's some serious weed, quarter/g and losing ability to type, impressive

Looks like I just picked up a "relative" to Zoap. (I might be wrong though)

Picked up Tahoe OG and Ice Cream Cake. Couldn’t believe the flavor of the Ice Cream Cake. Tasted like nothing I have ever smoked.
