Considering i run the sales floor of one of ny's largest dispe series (in terms of sales volume) i can totally answer this. Vapes fall into 3 categories: distillate, resin, and solventless.@Jeebis2
Can you recommendations of any type of Weed Vapes and if they are actually a good investment or not ?
What is your react to vaping weed ? And do they actually keep the air kind of smoke free and clear ?
Apparently it makes the weed last longer and smokes real clean without burning any ash at all or something like that ?
I suppose the smoke shop would be a good source for inquiring as well.
But you actually work with weed supply of medical and recreational then ??
I was wondering what your thoughts would be on this ?? If you would.
thank you
Very informative and precise answer but I think you misread the questionConsidering i run the sales floor of one of ny's largest dispe series (in terms of sales volume) i can totally answer this. Vapes fall into 3 categories: distillate, resin, and solventless.
Distillate is just that, distilled thc. Usually done via ethanol or supercritical co2. This is the cheapest of extracts. Also, the highest thc percentage......but in exchange there are no mi or cannabinoids or terps present. Most vapes you encounter, especially black market, will be this.
Live resin is a dabbable concentrate (hash/hash oil) extracted using a hydrocarbon of some sort (butane, hexane, propane, w/e). Full spectrum (minor cannabinoids are retained).....essentially like taking a snapshot of the plant.
Solventless extracts is the same principle as resin except no solvents are used. Typically this is done by either pressing flower or hash between 2 hot plates under pressure. Better retention of terps and minor cannabinoid acids, but yields are a fraction of resin. Now a days there's new technology that allows you to use an enzyme assisted extraction that is truly solventless but allows much higher yields and cannabinoid remediation
Live refers to the plant being extracted prior to curing post-harvest. Fresh frozen is exactly that, product extracted from biomass frozen upon harvesting.
Deciding what's best for you is entirely up to you. Solventless is most expensive, and distillate are most widely available. Just make sure you check the lab test to make sure it's free of pesticides, heavy metals, mold, and bacteria. If your product doesn't have a lab test, the you should decide if it's even worth the risk to purchase.
Homegrown flower and edibles are one thing, but once chemicals come into play, for the love of God, go to a legal source or make your own.
And stay the fuck away from gas station shit. 99% of it is concentrated from hemp using a process that generates carcinogenic by products. Don't do it.
Today I'm smoking: Flower- alien apple kush, kosher kush, diamond infused - alien og (from curaleaf)
Dabs - money maker (hindu kush x master kush x skunk 1) live res sauce
Edibles: a little bit of everything adding up to 200 mg
Also, I met The Lox today at my dispensary. Jadakiss is a cool fuckin dude, man
Oh yes yes yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!@kiely I have a 'Plenty' by Storz&Bickel , have had it for years, great weed vape imo. However I've just been staying at one of my kid's places for a few days and they have a 'Mighty' (also from S&B) which is also a fantastic vape, which they use with a silicon tube extension There's so much choice thesedays though it kinda depends what your requirements are. S&B's products are extremely well made however and last forever if well maintained (which is super-easy to do)
@kiely wants your recommendations for dry herb vapourisers I think? She posts plenty pics of concentrates here so I reckon she knows what they are
Was smoking bongs of Blue Cheese last night, many years since I've had that strain
Very potent, very stinky, clearly really well grown/cured (a local-ish grower), proper late night smoke.
I duuno why but I always kinda turn my nose up at 'chese' strains, not anymore
