A controversial Scottish brewery has launched what it described as the world's strongest beer - with a 32% alcohol content.

Tactical Nuclear Penguin has been unveiled by BrewDog of Fraserburgh.

BrewDog was previously branded irresponsible for an 18.2% beer called Tokyo, which it then followed with a low alcohol beer called Nanny State.

Managing director James Watt said a limited supply of Tactical Nuclear Penguin would be sold for £30 each.

Im not big on booze, but glad to see stronger beer :)

1 beer and you're buzzed to mildly drunk depending on your tolerance. Hilarious, and might I add, fiscally responsible in these trying times.

I find that the more % content the beer has the sweeter(taste) it has, but 15% is the highest I've had I do believe 32% is out of control.can't imagine it tasting good and the after taste would be horrible. Ill still try it tho. Lol

It must have bulk liquor added. It is impossible to naturally brew to higher than 19%alc without killing the yeast.

Didn't sam adams hit around 23% for Utopian or utopius... somethin like that.. They selectively bred ninja yeast lol

Sounds like you'd be basically drinking hard liquor out of the bottle with this product. I do love how after they were called irresponsible they made a low alch content beer called "nanny state", classic shit right there rofl :D. Thanks for posting this story OP :).

I love there 120 minute IPA. A single 12oz bottle cost me like 10 dollars. I believe your refering to there "World Wide Stout" I havent tried it as im more of an IPA drinker. I believe the most a culture of yeast can survive in is 25% but that could just be some serious yeast.
