Yep, I just figured out how world peace is possible! Now I just have to think of ways in order to bring about that worldly change! Shouldn't be too hard. This is all the truth believe it or not I can do it if I desire.

I'm so godddamn serious I could tell you the problem that prevents world peace from OUR PLANET right fucking NOW! But I'm afraid it may blow too many peoples minds, somuchso that they will not believe me yet and stay ignorant because that's what your subconscious does when it knows your conscious mind cannot handle believing in a certain idea at this point in time. Once you're ready to believe your subconscious will remind your conscious mind and you'll question it again and stay undecided or actually believe it to a certain extent or FULLY!

The world is at peace. It's just humans who are at war with themselves.

how conveniently self-reinforcing.

go ahead and post it here. i think we can handle it. if we don't believe you then at least you get a giant "i told you so" which is always nice, right?

Haha, indeed it is funny, people sometimes say the STRANGEST, most unrelated things when I drop bombs of truth.

Ok fine here is part of my "fun work" in progress....

Money is the true root of all evil on this planet, once I can get everyone to quit their jobs/work by showing them how much fun they can have by doing the things they REALLY LOVE to do the most, they will. ALL OF THEM. or they will die before they do.

O how much fun they can have by doing the things they REALLY LOVE to do the most

Honestly, I rather enjoyed cruising along the endless desert in an armoured vehicle, and getting paid for it. Ergo, I enjoy money and conflict. Hence, there is already a contradiction in your sweeping statements about what people like. Therefore, your theory is at odds with observed empirical evidence, meaning it needs to be re-worked.

Well i think we already have enough people who understand that war is not the right way. its the people in that happen to be in power controlling the countries that dont know what there doing. i can see how if everyone in a country went on strike the government would be fucked and eventualy not able to finance bad decisions but then of coarse everyone who was on strike would be fucked too and not have enought money to do the things they really love. i think maybe quitting our jobs would be part of a big revolution but its not like everything gonna be better in the lifetimes of the poeple that do this. it would take a couple genertions for the world peace to actualy occur. and it would pretty much be impossible to get everyone to get everyone to participate because due to how money has brainwashed us there would be an awfull lot of people on the war mongers side just for there own good in there lifetime. i dunno this is a super complicated issue i have pages and pages of thoughts about this i could sit here and type out lol

it's a little nerdy but I've been captivated by the anime Code Geass recently, and this is one of the main issues of the series...
i don't think that equality and understanding will necessarily lead to peace. the way humans are now, peace can only be obtained through a show of force

heheh

the freedom to explore mystery is not the same as trying to expose them...is it...DOH

Money is a big problem, and a new one, if that is of any relief, what is worse in the long-run is Gold mining.

Space-Travel: lol seriously, here is a big lesson for us try peace on earth amongst each other, before taking it to space, the planets here in our solar system are long since dried out. so to continue wasting our great Scientific Minds on such programs, and the rest of the money is a major loss and set-back as well.

^ culture, people, is/are evolving along with the technological progress they produce. one of many examples of this, is the fact that language (the number of words, its complexity, etc), developed over the course of human history, and we can trace this development. when we make new technology, we need to change our language, which changes our way of thinking. another example is how mental illness used to be seen as witchcraft...

as a planet, we are growing up. sure, we have our "issues" as a species, but we still need to get into space. what if something is out there, that we could learn, that would change our thinking enough to bring us to peace, or at least a little closer? what if research and materials science could find some sort of crucial cure for either physical or psychological ailments and reduce the pain here on earth?

we have to get into space, and we have to work on feeling peace within, and behaving peacefully as a culture. they are not mutually exclusive at all. once we started on our path of growth* and left the garden of eden, we left behind the option of turning back. we can only go forward.

* i wouldn't say that there is an actual beginning to this growth, it just fits with the eden metaphor... we are stardust...

p.s. @OP, i know that thought bro ;)

... fascinating.
;)

yes we are stardust, part of a cosmic sneeze.

every Holy Book goes on and on about repenting transgressions, in order to be better fulfilled...what if we as creatures of stardust, later realize that our greatest transgression was to try and leave our home, rather then focusing more on what can and needs to be done here. ?

Speak for yourself. This is so ignorant I can't begin to explain how little we know about the planets, let alone space. We've completed preliminary analyses of the solar system and that's about it. Don't express views your insultingly compendious mouth can't support.

I find it disconcerting that science fiction works depict futuristic weaponry and wars fought in space.

i am not speaking for anyone, just proposing thoughts.

it is hardly ignorant to explore different questions and answers.

i keep thinking about this, a universal language -
and i cant get past the thought of language then attempted to be governed.

although this wouldnt need to be a law or anything, if so i love the thought of having the freedom to explore language and linguistics, but, a Universal language being the first of all i like a lot, personally.

Approaching the topic very obliquely, I hope my point will remain clear: There's an old joke that states that the camel is a horse designed by committee. The quip overlooks the fact, however, that the camel works.

I second this, I feel horribly out of place at this very moment because I'm not killing people.

I can feel that you send yourself into danger, so you'll find a way to survive, from that spot. To tell the truth it feels as if you are gambling with your life.

Perhaps this isn't simply a matter of world peace; but of dimensional peace. We all may just need a certain amount of SPACE&TIME in order to get along peacefully.......
