World Goth Day. How are you celebrating?

With anger, resentment and low self-esteem.


The same way I have been celebrating every other day recently.
 
I shall be celebrating by continuing to be a goth (ish) and listening to goth (ish) music. But I'm also looking forward to World Raver Day - when's that?

Nah, most goffs I know have great senses of humour. I met Andrew Eldritch once and he was a great guy.. very mischievous.

Eldritch is a hero of mine! Genius. Jealous? Me? ;)

I'm generalising about goths being humourless, but music that's meant to be 'GOTH' is usually insufferably cheesy. I had my phase, so I know too well.

I'm also a postpunk / darkwave snob who wears black, frowns and loves the Swans and Killing Joke, so I have to distance myself.
 
I will try to look as miserable as possible and pretend to cut my arms up cos I'm just so damn miserable.

1. it just so happened I searched for 'goth' today
2. I didn't read the title of the thread, just saw the word 'goth' to find something.
3. walked away to make a sandwich
4. I had no idea that there was such a thing as was goth day
5. Looked at the date of the original post (5/22)
6. Looked at today's date (5/22)
7. What are the odds?
