Workout supplements with xanax...

So I have been trying to better myself and have been going to the gym for a little bit now. I have been taking a weight gainer supplement (cyto-gainer) as I am also trying to gain weight (only weigh 125!!!!). I am trying to be more "up" and attentive when I am going to the gym, because I go right after work, and I sit on my ass all day and get lazier as the day goes on.

I want to take N.O.-xplode as a pre-workout. It apparently makes you more alert and gives you more energy for your workout. I read on the back of the sample packet, "do not take with medications". I am already taking xanax and have been for a couple years. I take it a couple of times daily.

Clearly I already have issues with anxiety, and I read somewhere online that this can increase anxiety big time, maybe just due to the caffeine found in it....
I am not really THAT caffeine sensitive, like I can drink an energy drink and be alright. I am just unsure if it is even safe to take with my medication as I feel like you are almost speedballing mixing a upper and downer...any personal experience? And outside knowledge too!!! Thanks!
 
I was thinking that, NO-xplode has alot of added supplements like amino acids to help with workouts and recovery. Caffeine I believe is the culprit for many having anxiety attacks due to No-xplode. I heard this trial has the amount of caffeine of 4 and half cups of coffee
 
I would NOT reccomend taking any stimulant pre-workout supp (n.o. xplode, jack3d, superpump) that late at night. IT has more stimulants than just caffeine so it lasts alot longer. IF you can somehow workout in the morning before work than I would take it.

Also, I have heard somewhere that benzos relax your smooth muscle involuntarily, so they are not too good for building muscle. But if you need them then obviously take them.
 
alprazolam doesn't have much affinity for the sub-type of benzodiazepine receptor associated with muscle relaxation
 
I exercise and take Xanax daily, but I rarely do the two together. I generally exercise in the morning or midday and take my Xanax in the evening, although lately I've developed the habit of taking my Xanax immediately after my workout and then hitting up the sauna. This is probably not very safe, but feels wonderful.

Anyway, I have found that taking Jacked3D, NeuroCore, and other pre-workout drugs to be problematic. First, they increased my anxiety far above what caffeine/energy drinks do. This forced me to take my Xanax while working out and was counterproductive. Additionally, these drugs are long lasting. Even when taken midday, these drugs can cause sleep issues or a desire to increase my dose of Xanax.

Basically, the pre-workout supplement will weaken the effects of your Xanax and the Xanax will weaken the effects of the stimulant. This relationship is dangerous because it can cause rising doses and more rebound symptoms.

The best advice I can give is to change your diet/sleep routine before you add additional drugs. That said, i find that a small dose (3-5 grams) of Kratom to be an effective pre-workout supplement/drug that causes short term stimulation followed by relaxed sedation. Just like the pre-workout stimulants, Kratom is addictive. Again, try non-drug approaches first.
