Working out, while nodding out?

Subs don't suppress nearly as much as the "abuseable" opis. Its a partial agonist which I'm sure is the big part of it when compared to full agonists such as heroin, oxycodone, morphine, methadone (guidos got exogenous test running through his system that's why he's making gains), and other popular pharmaceuticals. Tramadol I believe isn't too suppressive either.

Opiate(habit)s suck for working out.

1. they will make you rationalize and prioritize, and the real priority will be preserving the opiate high/use, not gaining mass, not health, not anything else.

2. you will have an extra hurdle regarding diet. Sucks trying to eat big when you don't want to kill your high.

However, it is better for you than being a sedentary opiate addict.

I gain 15-20 pounds of muscle just from quitting dope alone, it has something to do with just not consuming enough calories I'm sure, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with testosterone.

On the flip side, I look at least 10 years younger than I am and they may have something to do with hormone suppression as well.

I look like I'm 16 even though I'm 22. When I was in rehab all the opi addicts looked young. It slows metabolism from the drug, then decreased eating slows it further, so in effect you're not aging as quickly.

I keep active and exercise a little bit but lifting and intentionally trying to gain muscle has never been my thing....It seems to be common sense that, no matter what opiate you're using using, if it's fucking up your ability to eat properly and hydrate yourself, your pretty much screwed! something like IV heroin, forget it!

But but but what if I'm a dying cancer patient in the UK with a diamorphine script?? :P

I thought I had explained myself further in another post if I recall but maybe I didn't-

Your back is fucked and you have legitimate medical issues. As such, you take your medication as prescribed. Anyone that takes their medication as prescribed can bodybuild fine. However, if you are taking drugs to get high and abusing prescriptions, well, that just doesn't fly with bodybuilding. Recreational drug use and bodybuilding/powerlifting doesn't mix. You will either end up hurting yourself, hindering progress, or causing health complications.
Bang on mate
