To Words regulars, passers by, drifters and lovers,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but (Wordy) has decided to step aside for someone who can devote a little more time to Words than he can at the moment. He'll be moving onto bigger and better things out in the real world but has assured us he won't be a stranger to these parts.
(Wordy) has been instrumental in helping to make this forum the supportive and inviting environment it is and we'll definitely miss his encouraging words and guiding hand.
On behalf of everyone I'd like to say thank you so much for the time you've put into Words - your contribution has really made a difference and we've really appreciate the compassionate and helpful advice you've given in your time here.
This means that there is a position available for someone who would like to help us moderate Words. If you are interested in filling the position please PM colicolo and myself with your application. Factors you might like to include, as previously outlined, are:
1. Why you think you’d make a good Words mod.
2. Why the Words forum is important to you.
3. Any background experience that you think is relevant. While no particular experience or qualifications are necessary, if you think it’s relevant, then it’s probably worth drawing our attention to it.
Preference will be given to members who have been regular, thoughtful contributors to the forum.
Please don't nominate other people for the position as this thread is all about the (Wordy) love-fest.
