There once was someone
Whose face was not unique
Their air was all the same
And they spent time in gardens
Long stone walkways
Its nothing to be taken
Like a Sunday in May
Just a walk down the brick road
A smile until you can finally greet
The one person you have waited for
Your entire life
Nothing should be said
You hold hands
And exhale
The sun shines off a tear
And the afternoon arrives
There’s no use
You sigh
And let go
Of your day.
