Coldplay at Glastonbury.

OK, I know they're shit, but I've never listened to them live so thought I'd give them a chance and watch the BBC coverage.

My God, what a pile of vanilla wank - and that's insulting to vanilla!


So my question is, who the fuck actually likes Coldplay? Are they the same people that think Taylor Swift is a 'phenomenon'?
 
I think they are the most popular British band of the last couple of decades. (I take that to mean the most popular British band in Britian. No way can I see them being the most popular band in the world!)

I've liked a couple of their earlier songs, but no way would I call myself a fan. Some of their songs seem on the soppy / drippy side ('music for bed wetters' I read in some scathing review somewhere)

Does that mean that the British are a nation of bedwetters, or have become so?

It's so easy to rag on Coldplay

Music devoid of any edge or personality, almost like an AI mashup of all the parts of 70's music that didn't lead anywhere

But i feel evil hating so much on something
 
I wouldn't know my arse from my elbow if a song played on the radio if it was from coldplay or not.

The only thing I know is that Taylor Swift needs a good fucking up the arse, I just googled her picture as it is basically the same as above.
 
I don't fucking get it. They came over here and a bunch of news articles about it were made, and they are still making them after the gig. WTF have they done to gain such coverage? I don't know, either I can not relate to mainstream and just don't get it or someone is paid for giving the coverage. Probably both. Even big names of rock and metal like Metallica or AC/DC cause less fuss.

I wish they'd have an aerial accident, Christopher Anthony John Martin just won't stop making music, every year it's more and more shiiiiat!
