There seems to be a lot of chemically designed substances for sale (not for human consumption) available online, some are scams but some are also legit. Would you buy, try chemicals from a reputable company?

RCs Wondering about research drugs websites safety and availability?

yup, I am.
but will be researching the RC and company a lot before I do, I don't like to be a guinea pig for the "new thing" if I can help it though (I'll pretend lude analogues don't exist....they're my kryptonite)
I have just one experience with RC's. The incident was in 2017;
I was running out of my Klonopin script too early and I found out that I could buy basically the same substance online called Clonazolam and it shipped out of Germany. I don't remember how many I purchased, but I was taking them for under a month and I wasn't taking an exorbitant amount. By the time that I had run out of the Clonazolam my Klonopin was filled and I went back to taking those. A couple of days after using the Clonaz for the last time, I started having the normal benzo withdrawal symptoms. I thought that was interesting since I was taking Klonopin again and that was in my system.
Here is the crazy and scary part;
I went to bed on the 2nd night of no Clonaz. I ended up waking up in the middle of the night and at the edge of my bed stood an old Asian man. He was full color and not translucent. I have never in my life had a hallucination that looked this real and having that happen in the middle of the night really startled me. I remember asking it who he is and I think what it was here for and I was so convinced that he was real. I remember being so scared my voice was cracking and I could barely get out a word. Never been scared in my life to the point of that ever happening.
The next night I went to bed, fell asleep like normal. I woke up once again the in middle of the night. Something caught my eye on the side of my bed. I looked over and a line of Asian women dressed up kind of like dancers. Once again they were full color and not translucent. I just put my head under the sheets.
I think that after that 2nd night I was back to normal, at least that was the last time I had any of those extremely vivid hallucinations. I'm still not sure why my episodes were Asian themed haha.

I buy my phenibut from one of these sites and I haven't gotten sick and the product works.

do your research on the suppliers and you reduce the risk significantly

Yes, although here in The Netherlands, many have gone out of business after one RC provider was linked to several deaths of folks who had (mis)used their wares.

Yeah, I think thats was due to the blanket ban in the UK (FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!)
We don't have one yet, although several groups of RC's are banned now here.
I gave up altogether trying to find reputable online sources after being scammed more times than I like to remember.
