Women ‘twerking’ outside City Hall arrested, found with drugs

OREGON — Three women who police said were “twerking” in front of Beaverton City Hall were arrested and found to be in possession of drugs Monday afternoon, according to police.
According to KPTV, Coura Velazquez went to municipal court to pay a fine for a warrant and as she left the building with her two friends, they began “twerking” in front of City Hall and courtroom officials.
Velazquez and Brittney Medak, both of Vancouver, reportedly exposed their genitals while twerking, and Medak urinated between two cars, police told KPTV.
Police say the third woman, Leokham Yothsombath, 22, filmed the entire display with her cell phone.
As they proceeded to leave City Hall, they were stopped by police and gave them consent to search the car.
It was reported that officers found cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine in the vehicle.
