Hey bluelight i'm a new member and thought i'd say "high". Anyways, I thought i'd ask a question for you seasoned opiate users. I took oxycodone for the first time and have really enjoyed it. On the first day, I took 15 mg during the evening. On the second I had taken 7.5 after lunch, and 15 during the evening. On the third day I took 23 mg during the evening and lastly today my last day with my use of opiates I have taken 30mg. So essentially three 30mg pills over a four day period. What are the chances of physical withdrawals? If I do start to have physical withdrawl problems, what would you suggest? Will they be light or quite heavy? I don't care about the mental side of it, but the physical part is whats really on my mind. I live with my parents and don't want to be sweating and shaking in bed for three days. Any and all comments are welcome. Thank you!

It takes weeks during the first bout of daily use for physical dependence to develop, not three days.

Your chances of physical withdrawals are zero, so the rest of these questions don't really need answering. Even if you did somehow become physically dependent in three days, they would be so mild that you wouldn't need anything to cope with them.

--->BDD?

Thank you so much for your reply- I really appreciate it buddy. I was mainly concerned because I have no experience with opiates.

Good advice is to make it a one time thing everyone says once a month but once a year is perfect cause youll get very amazing highs that normal users never achieve no matter the dose.

Unless u Od but who wants to do that.

yeah, takes a little more effort than that to develop a physical dependency

when I am not strung out, and I binge, I'll do like 2-3 shots of H for 4-5 days straight with nearly no withdrawals. Everyone is different though.

I doubt you will have any serious withdrawal, maybe very slight withdrawal on the first day only, if even that.

Yeah, this was an experimentation type of thing. I don't want to ever get hooked on this stuff, but i'll tell you something. It is pure magic. I would do it again, but wait a while. I now know why it's so easy to get hooked... Holy fuck. I don't even want to imagine what the physical withdrawals are like. Must be the exact opposite of the high. I don't believe in god, but if there is one I'd say he purposely created the withdrawals, because everyone would be so high all the time. Not only that, but to keep people from abusing such an amazing substance. I guess it doesn't stop people, but is definitely a deterrent from using it on a continuous basis. Sigh, if there was only a drug like this without the negative after effects.

yeah it takes a long time to get hooked the first time around. I can't even remember when I actually first started developing physical habits, it's strange. I just know that I got really bad withdrawals after 7 days of I.V oxymorphone usage... I think in order to get them if you just started, you got to be doing big dosages multiple times a day. not that you'd want that!

IMO you will feel close to nothing..I think you will just be a little overly tired once you hit 24 to 36 hours from your last dose.

You took 90mg oxy spread over 4 days, that is not enough IMO to cause dependancy. You MIGHT feel a HINT of VERY VERY EXTREMELY LIGHT withdrawal symptoms, like maybe the 1st night you might have a little trouble sleeping, but it will be nothing even remotely comparable to the withdrawal you are worryin about.

Also, I dunno where you got the idea that opiate withdrawals are over in 3 days. They are indeed longer, so keep that in mind if you continue use.

Obviously, you are new to opiates..get out now or you will find your self sweating and shaking in you bed. It will be a LOT fucking worse then just that.

Ask anyone, ANYONE here who does oxy or other opiates, and who has been addicted to them fore more than a year,

I wish I could go back to when I was taking 1 a night and just
called it quits then. Here I am now, stuck. In a whole nother ballpark

for an opiate-naive individual [since you mentioned you were new to this], doses as high as those you are taking are actually QUITE dangerous. If you keep titrating up slowly, you will reach a dose that can not only be fatal or high enough for alarum and an ER visit, and stay on it or thereabouts [assuming you do not die], rapid cessation of the drug will cause a pretty lil' withdrawal thingy about a day later. It feels weird. Not like full blown WD of the junkies, cinematically expressed as hell...no. Just anxiety...fear...intense discomfort, and veryvery strong dysphoria. But in a day you go back to normal.

So stop it now, maybe....it would be a good idea. Just my advice. And slow down with the doses! No one goes up this fast, come on.......

Be VERY VERY worried about the psychological wds. As most opiate users will tell you they are worse than the physical. The physicals include vomiting, shaking, tremors, twitching (my muscles always spasm during wd) legs kicking nonstop 24 hours a day, no sleep, hot flashes, sweats, nausea, it never ends.
The psychological part is being afraid to leave your house, extreme anxiety, panic attacks, thinking of different ways to kill yourself 24/7, crying fits & depression, the psychological I believe is what actually causes most people to relapse.
Chop my arm off but if I'm happy I'm happy, physical pain is nothing to me anymore.

Its the lingering nonstop suicidal thoughts I think that gets to most people. And believe it or not the physical pain can actually distract you from it sometimes. Its after the physical pain is gone that you have nothing left to focus on except how your "brain is broke" and you just want to die.

You don't really ever realize what opiates do to the brain untill you stop them and ride 1 full withdrawal out. Its a living nightmare. Keep your distance now. And I know enough people who have took their lives coming off drugs, usually by a depression induced od during wds when their mind isn't right.

Holy fuck, I think you have scared me straight.

believe me, it doesn't matter how "negative" the side effect a true heroin addict doesn't care. Once you get into opiates and then into heroin, NOTHING else matters so yeah, take every ones advice and STOP NOW. Good luck!

Yeah, in the long run, it's much better to simply enjoy life the way it is and don't try to depend on a daily chemical injection to maintain your stability/happiness. It's hard for me to say that its not worth it to ever give it a try, but that may be the truth for some/all people. In the end we all will realize that the high's reached from an honest, natural, loving, and responsible lifestyle far outweigh any rush you can achieve through drug use.

well not as strong but MARIJUANA cant die on it,cant become physicly addicted, great calming buzz if i could i would stick to pot and flush all my morphine/oxy/xanax i would in a heart beat

Jesus christ dude...grow a pair. You have to pay to play. First of all, the OP doesn't have a damn thing to worry about. He used a very low dose for 4 days. There is zero chance of any kind of withdrawal. Secondly, I just did a cold turkey from using for 4 years straight. Does it suck? Yes. That said, the depression lifts after a week...sometimes less. If you are having long term thoughts of suicide, then you have other problems that have nothing to do with opiates.

You know, i think this may be true for some people but for me it isn't. I have a good job, loving wife who hates my heroin addiction and has threatened to leave me if i don't stop but hasn't so far...and great kids but ya know...it just seems like nothing can fill the void and make me feel (mentally and physically) the way IV heroin does...but then again that might just be me.

I agree with Over, you must have underlying issues that are making you THAT suicidal. like Over, I too have had years of HEAVY IV heroin usage to where, now, I have to bang atleast 1.5g's at a time to get any sort of high and still isn't that strong and I'm not suicidal. So yeah..I think there may be other things there bub...
