Ive been taking gabapentin for the past 5 months roughly and recently I just got a new job and was busy and totally ignored making a appointment to see my psych to get a gaba refill. I have been thinking about stopping the medication for the past few months based on the fact that I really honestly have only been getting it because my psych in no way shape or form will give me anything narcotic and in the past i was prescribed 1200mg 3 times a day of gaba and remembering if i dosed it correctly (not as directed by a doc),but as in staggering the dose up to about 4000mg i could achieve a nice buzz. So ive been taking roughly 900mg 3 times a day at least and some days use up to 4000mg and others use only one 300mg pill for the whole day. Now that i dont have them i have been very antsy,depressed and my body is a bit achey and i was wondering if it could be from the gaba leaving my system and withdrawing for the first time in 5 months
