Withdrawl after oen time high dose benzo use?

I was wondering if say I have little to no tolerance to benzos and I take a high dose of xanax, maybe 8mg in a day. When the xanax wears off will my anxiety be increased more the following day or week? Or will it take more then one heavy use to have to withdrawl from benzos.
 
You can have rebound anxiety the next day or so, but that's not the same as the withdrawals that you get from using steadily for longer periods of time. So basically you may have increased anxiety for a day or two after a high dose of a benzo, or maybe you won't have any issues.

Withdrawals are a result of your body becoming dependent on a substance. This won't happen in a day.
 
8mg was an example of how much i was using it when i was abusing benzos, now im just fine with 1-2 mg tops.
 
Sphongle, excuse me if my memory isn't serving me correctly, but didn't you have a benzo addiction? If so, any use could cause wd's and anxiety. If someone with no benzo tolerance or history of benzo addiction were to take 8 mg of Xanax in a day, I doubt they would be experiencing any re-bound anxiety and definitely no wd's. I remember when I had only taken Xanax a handful of times at low doses (0.5 mg), I decided to take 2.5 mg over the course of the evening. I was well fucked up into the next day, and perhaps even the day after was calm.
 
I had a benzo addiction but it was weird....i wasnt addicted to them because i loved them so much that i went out and sought after them every day...it was because this girl i knows mom was all weird and hot for me and she was a fucking LOONY and would give me her whole script every month 130 2mg bars, and she would keep 30 for herself so she could have one a day just in case. That's how i god hooked on them, to be quite honest benzos really arent that fun recreationally to me its jsut that fact that i have huge social anxiety and it works wonders when trying to make new friends ect. My drug of choice by far is dissociatives....i could care less about much else :)
