I recently changed GPS, straight away he stopped my oramorph, zopidem, zopiclone which I have been on 8 yrs and also cut my Lorazepam to nothing and MST. Got the last two reinstated after four days. My psychiatrist wouldn't help me, saying its up to GP what meds I have he can only advise, still on two Lorazepam, sequeol and duloxitine and 50 MST. I ended up in general hospital on one occasion the other I needed stitches. I asked to be tapered off my drugs but he refused. Ppl keep telling me to report what has happened or get a solicitor can anybody help me please xxx

Around where I am (EU), the psychiatrist has the last word over everyone. And Lorazepam is short-acting, most useless benzo I think. I have a tolerance, by now, but I was prescribed it once, just to try. Nothing. Could not even sleep. There is Midazolam, the most dangerous benzo, as they say. But that is used only in hospital settings here, no prescriptions. The reason you were taking them comes first. Prescription opiates are also useless, I was in a morphine cloud when I was 11 years old. For months, to sleep off the pain. No withdrawals. And that is actually it. Self-medicating never gets you where you want to be. If you are not offered to "sleep it off", in a hospital, that is just cruel. As all you listed were prescription drugs, the responsibility is theirs.

Hi Madsharon, welcome to Bluelight.

The BLUA prohibits the discussion of how to source drugs, or get any doctor to prescribe you any drugs. We also cannot give you legal advice, except seek competent professional legal advise.

I'm sorry but I'm going t have to close this thread
