Opioids Withdrawals from 1 patch?

I've been using my 72-hour fentanyl patch for a few days now on and off, and was curious if I would get withdrawals after the patch ran out? In the past using heroin after four days I would start noticeable w/d symptoms if I stopped. Using three days and stopping I don't notice any w/d if any. Been using the patch 5 days now on and off now and plan to finish it today. There's 10.2mg of fentanyl total in the patch, is using that much over a course of five days enough to give me w/d symptoms tomorrow night? I know it's powerful stuff 100x more potent than morphine. And different opioids have different withdrawal effects. Three days of hydromorphone pill use gave me noticeable symptoms, where as heroin didn't.
 
im not for sure as ive never used fentanyl but to be safe i would drink plenty of water, eat healthy as possible, excercise, take vitamins if you want.. i would just play it safe you know what i mean.. if you have to get some benzos or somethin to maybe ease the anxiety a little
 
Fentanyl withdrawal ain't no joke... I had a brief taste of it once, and did everything in my power to reverse it ASAP... Certainly not worth it for an opiate that gives me no euphoric effects whatsoever. (It definitely helps withdrawal though.)

If you had a previous physical dependence, I imagine after five days you might have some withdrawals, but I'll pray for ya... <=P
 
Due to the fact that three days of hydromorphone use and five days of heroin use can induce wd's when discontinued, I'd suspect that you would feel some sort of wd's from the fentanyl. You have been on this patch five days, and even if it stopped working after its supposed 72 hours, I would expect some form of wd's based on your history. It is a strong opioid agonist with a short half-life, even shorter than hydromorphone's.
 
I have to agree with the posters above. I also had a brief week long stint with it, mostly because I couldn't find anything else, and it wasn't fun coming off of it. You sound a lot like me; I can use for one day and not really get w/d symptoms, maybe two. If I go three or more I will have w/d symptoms, if not full blown w/d, depending on what and how much I was using. Based on your history I imagine you're in the same boat as me.

If you're looking for a good time stay away from fent, I find it great for managing pain though! I just don't like the idea of begin on anything this strong just yet.
 
First off thanks to everyone for their posts'. I don't think I'll be using fentanyl recreationally again, I get more pleasurable effects from heroin and it's easier for my body to handle. I feel the symptoms coming on though.:( I've been through some bad heroin withdrawals before so I'm hoping five days of fentanyl use won't be worse. I really do appreciate everyone's input, thanks guys.
