Im new to this so dont knownhow much im gonna open up yet. I used to do a lot of heroin and have switched over to subs over last fout or five months. Im trying hard to get my life back so had to stop the dope. I want to stop taking subs now but get so sick after maybe a day or two. Im not new to withdrawing from dope but have never from sub. Ppl are telling me it can last months and there is no way im working or functioning normal. Others say I'll be okay that dope is worse. Either way any advice to make it a little easier or quicker. Also someone who knows please tgat has been through it, amy idea how long it'll last? Been doing this stuff for over ten years. Im now 30 and just thinking about stopping and the UNKNOWN SOBER is KILLING me. Sry so long but thank you for reading. If need more info to be able to help lmk.Thank you.

You should try looking at some of our TDS threads, there are a lot of people struggling with opiates and you'll get to know how some of them deal with it. I can't say about Subs, but I have come off of Methadone and it was really tough but totally worth it. It depends a lot on how long you've been using them. These meds like Subs or 'dones stay with you 24/7 for years in some cases, so getting back to yourself again may be quite an accomplishment. The only reason I believe it's worse than heroin is because it takes a long time, so perhaps it's not as intense in the beginning but it takes forever to end. But again, it will also depend on how long you've been using and even if it's a long time we are all very different so I say is totally doable. Do it now!!
