Bupe withdrawal

so,ill state here the results i get so matbe they ll be useful to someone else.so the thing is im on subes for over two months 8mg a day but sometimes i would foolishly raise the dose.so at this point i have a one pill and gonna meke it last for 3 days,today i took the one half of that pill,so far i dont feel bad,i feel normal as in everyother day i used to take 8mg,today only 4.after worl ill post how the day went and i cant wait for tomorrow to see how goes with just 2 mg maybe ill inhale them,following info that is 60per cent BA.big thanx to everyone that helped
 
You would be way better to just snort it, just imagine the difference in dose between 30% and 60%. I make a solution with <1/2 ml of water and squirt it up my nose.
FYI, if you IV the subs, the BA is 100%
 
OP, u should be totally fine. with the long half life and all, i know people that can skip days without even noticing when they normally do at least 8mg a day. it's more the people who are addicted to compulsively snorting/shooting stuff in general i think that start imagining buprenorphine withdrawal setting in at like 12 hours. (in the cases of larger doses like u are taking i mean. if u are only dosing like .2 then u could start feeling bad in a much shorter span of time i guess)
 
Honestly man.......do you know anything about the medication you are taking??....

have you ever heard of a thing called.."half life"???? and also, ever heard of the conept of medication building up in your system over time???

If you knew all of that, which should be common sense for someone taking buprenorphine...than you would know that you have NOTHING to worry about.

Even if you threw away that last pill of yours and didnt take ANY bupe for those three days...you would be fine!!!! the half life of bupe is like 36 hours....im not gonna explain what this means as you should know allready, also, because of this long half life, the fact you take 8 mg's every day, means that you have a shitload of bupe built up in your sytem that will STILL BE THERE even after you finish 3 whole days of not taking any bupe!!..

...please do your homework before asking questions like that on BL.....it makes you look ignorant....and for someone who is prescribed a powerful opiate...you should know as much about the drug you are taking as possible.

ok,despite my posts make me feel an ignorant.and even woth my lack of knowledge and enlightment i will just post how my thing went.well i took my 4mg yesterday,day one and everything was quite mormal,didnt even had to take any diazepam as usually i get anxious in situations such as these,today,day 2 i took my 2mg piece ofpill,and i came to work normally nothing really upseting even though o had 20 mg of valium,just in case!wonder how ll go tomorrow?and as a test i wonder how willi feel now that i reduced when ill have my 8mg dose?will i feel a thing you think?

YOU WILL FEEL NOTHING. I promise you. Suboxone is different in many ways than most drugs, meaning it can be confusing, decieving, and hard to understand. The higher dose of suboxone you take, the less euphoria or "high" your gonna feel. The only way to do what you are trying to do is to lower your dose to less than .5 mg's(maybe 1 mg...everyones different)....and keep it at this dose until you can adjust to it completely(atleast 4 days).

You should be getting some euphoria allready from lowering your dose to this amount because at that dose you leave opiod receptors open for bupes metabolite norbuprenorphine, which is a full agonist, and has the ability to get you high.

Anyway....once your on a very low dose.....then if you try to take a higher dose....say, 2-3 mg's(DO NOT GO HIGHER THAN 4 MG'S) you might get more euphoric effects because your still at a low dose that can feel the effects of norbuprenorphine but youve also taken a little bit more so therefore you probably have a little bit more norbuprenorphine on your receptors...making you high.......but if you take anything above 4 mg's(give or take, everyones different) than you will feel nothing, because at 4 mg's and up...your receptors are COMPLETELY filled with bupe, leaving no room for its full agonist metabolite norbuperenorphine....and since bupe is only a partial agonist...it will not feel nearly as good as norbupe.....usually you will feel nothing but normal and maybe a headache.
 
And like I said earlier...you could have not even taken ANY of your last 8 mg pill and you still woul have been fine for 3 days.....all you gotta do is read my previous post about half lifes, and the build up of drugs in your system....and you would understand.

YOU HAVE PLENTY OF BUPE LEFT IN YOUR SYSTEM....therefore you dont need to worry when you go a couple days without. But since you chose to make your last 8 mg pill last 2-3 days....you will be in an even better position, meaning...your fine.

For example....one 8 mg pill lasts me about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. And I know alot of people who take one 8 mg pill in a months time.....waaaaaaay longer than how you take it.

I think you should rethink your dosage levels of your suboxone if your interested in maximizing its effectiveness and euphoria.

Where are you from....I noticed you dont spell things the same as most people....is that because you are from a diferent country or are you just poorly educated?

Also....the way you were spelling, wasnt consistent to ANY country or culture....it was pretty much consistent with poor writing/spelling skills.....but I was trying to be polite by asking if you were from some random country, but you decided to get offended and accuse me of being ignorant of the fact that other countries exist.....

...im sry to break the news to you, but just because someone wonders where you are from because you cant spell worth shit, doesnt mean they don't understand that there are hundreds of different countries on our planet.

I hate people who assume that if your an american you automatically are ignorant of other cultures. THAT...in itself.....is ignorant.
