Withdrawal question

Okay, so say someone has an addiction to hydro's. Then they run out of them and start on oxy's like 24 hours later. This person has had oxy's' before and never felt bad. But now they feel like crap even tho they're on a stronger narcotic....can one withdraw from the first even if they're on the second? Is it really that bittersweet?....
 
No, opiates are cross-tolerant. Thats why people can switch from roxi 30s to heroin, or oxycodone to dilaudid, or whatever it may be without any problems. Hope this helped:).
