Withdrawal help!

Okay so I had about a gram a day heroin habit for about the last 9 months...never used needles or anything, just snorted it. I have now been clean 5 days and feel pretty much completely back to normal other than my sleep being a little but off but that's really all I'm dealing with.

A friend of mine came over last night to smoke with me and gave me a percocet 30 just as a "gift" and I'd love to do it today since I have to go out and do a bunch of stuff today however I'm terrified that my withdrawals will start completely over. The first 2-3 days were awful (hot/cold flashes, sore achy body, just felt like dying basically) I just want to make sure this one pill isn't going to completely restart my withdrawals.

You will be fine, just taking a 30mg pill will not send you into withdrawls like you were having. You might feel kinda sluggish the next day but thats it.

That 30mg pill might not be that big a deal, but could easily be a trigger.

In most of the research and swim experience. ..to keep from reintroducing dependency and in turn keep from having w/d....when you receive such gifts like your 30mg pill.... swim suggest to use for maximum of 2 days and then do not use anything again for five days....there's clinical and scientific research on this that swim found while attempting to taper down to help avoid w/d...but swim also has pain and will need to use from time to time. ..this method will help you help the DTs at bay...hope it helps....but in response to your post...you're good to go on just one 30mg...you might feel achy or have pains the next day but that's is just normal pain your body is used to from your pain threshold that you usually don't notice but you possibly could after feeling the exaggerated effects of the 30mg on your body. ..
