Withdrawal from antipsychotics

Hey all

I cant get in to see my shrink for 8 wks and I really want to wean off largactil, does anyone have any experience weaning off this or any other anti-psychotic?

Im on 300mg at night, also on xanax and aropax but ill tackle those another time.....

i think i answered this thread somewhere else but i take 20 to 30mg of zyprexa a night and from time to time stop could turkey no problem

Anti-psychotics aren't particularly known for "withdrawals" when they are stopped or reduced, but the psychotic symptoms which the meds were originally prescribed for could definitely get worse.
