The Fantoms Melvins Big Band -- The Melvins started in (1983) close to Seattle, WA and slipped under the "early 90's grunge rock". They teamed up with Mike Patton (singer from Faith No More) and Mike Patton showcases as lead singer/DJ in the "underrated, slipped through the cracks band" called "Mr. Bungle"

December 31, 2000 this band started playing together
  • Fantômas: Mike Patton (vocals, samples, electronics), Trevor Dunn (bass), and Dave Lombardo (drums).
  • Melvins: Buzz Osborne (guitar) and Dale Crover (drums).
  • Extra members: Dave Stone (guitar) and Kevin Rutmanis (bass

Clutch - "Passive Restraints" -- (1991)

My father was Black, my mother was Decker
Believe me my friend, it doesn't get any better
Than rack and pinion reasoning, add a little seasoning
Cook at ninety-eight point six degrees, yeah

Let me be the bull, and you be the pen
Such an easy way to glorify sin
If I am a horse, you're a Venus in spurs
Everything I have is yours, so take it

I come fully loaded with an option to buy
I've got a stick shift disposition and a four wheel mind
I'll give you endless mileage and unlimited speed
Total satisfaction, absolutely guaranteed

Oh no
Turbo boost libido and passive restraints
And as of yet, I haven't heard even a single complaint
I've got the tools of the trade, a fuel injected heart
Efficiency is beautiful, efficiency is art
Can you dig it?

This one of the "Top 5" Bob Marley recordings.

Talkin' Blues was recorded at The Record Plant for KSAN(FM) in San Francisco in 1973, and includes other recordings and interviews from 1973 and 1975. It was not released until February 4th, 1991.
