Wisdom teeth + MDMA

Hey guys.

So I thought I'd get some input from you guys seeing as turning here for aid as always helped me in my endeavours.

So the situation is, I'm off to a music festival (creamfields) in 2 weeks, and it's all exciting, getting my MDMA pills, and ketamine ready.

However earlier on today, I realised the pain I've been feeling in my cheek for the last week and a bit is a wisdom tooth (top left side of my mouth) that's growing at an awkward angle. As you guessed; into my cheek lol.

As everyone is aware, at a festival like creamfields, nay, any type of festival, there is avid drug taking. Whilst I shall be taking MDMA pills, weed and ket myself, there will be an abundance of other drugs for sale which I may or may not be taking (2-cb, maybe LSD etc etc)

Now my dilemma is what course of action should I take regarding my wisdom tooth? Do I get it removed and take the risk of gurning my absolute balls of and risk an infection or ruined teeth like? Or do I wait till after creamfields where I'll have a wrecked mouth but no more drug taking for another month and a half?

My only concern is if my teeth will be okay for another 2 weeks + a weekend of gurning to hell.

Appreciate all your advice and replies guys cheers :)

It sounds like your tooth is severely impacted and that the recovery time for your surgery would be >2 weeks.

My wisdom teeth were severely impacted (like your tooth) and the swelling went down after a miserable 1 week but I was still in a lot of maxillofacial pain for at least 1 1/2 weeks after that.

I stopped the various prescribed Vicodin, Ibuprofen, and Codiene pills they gave me after the surgery after around 2 1/2 weeks after my surgery.

I don't know how severe your tooth impaction is and you should definitely schedule a consult with an oral surgeon before you make any final decisions so that he can give you an estimate on when you should get them out.

For example I had my consult in June but waited until late July to schedule my surgery since I had work scheduled until then and my oral surgeon told me at my consult that I'd be out for a solid two weeks at least.

Yeah but I do I wanna take the risk OTW? NHS says recovery takes up to 2 weeks. The pain will subside in a few day but will the state of my mouth be able to handle the gurn

Hey Anvils. Why does it sound like it's severely impacted? I mean it's at a fair angle I suppose but it's not causing me much pain. It's noticeable enough to know something's not right but it only gets a bit annoying when I open my jaw hugely.

Yeah I'm going to try to go tomorrow to consult on what course of action I should take however it often takes a while to actually book an appointment for the surgery. Also if you waited until late July to get yours removed, do you think it would be okay if I waited these 2 weeks till creamfields was done, a couple day after to recover from the blues, and then go in to get them removed?

From the sounds of it you are only teething. You should be fine. Of course you need and X-ray to diagnose but unless they plan on removing bone the risks in two weeks is pretty low

Hey OTW. Yeah I think that's probably the case, I think I'm beginning to teeth in the bottom right corner of my mouth, getting slightly painful lol. I called the dentist today and I have an appointment next Saturday, (it's the next available appointment). I'm assuming it's gonna be a consultation sort of thing, and won't be removing anything on that date, in any case even if he were, there's be less than a week till creamfields.

Having spent over £500 to go to such a festival and envelop myself in such trance and house to only be drunk, or even sober would be a travesty lmao.

But if you're confident that I'll be fine until after creamfields. I'll be brushing twice a day, anti septic mouthwash as well as warm water and salt gargles everyday to prevent an infection. Just slightly worried about gurning that hard that ill cut my cheek. I'm going to try to limit the mandy use to Sunday and try to find 2-cb for the saturday.

Do you know if 2-cb and ketamine causes bruxism?
