Ok im getting my wisdon teeth removed on March 24 and my mom gave me the choice of being put out or getting four shots. I was wondering what kind of substances would be in these 4 shots. And also what kind of perscription thye would give me?
Ive heard Vicodin, then Valuum, and then somthing called Sans(sp?) anyone know the order(if any)? and what are these Sans, a friend told me he was fucked up for 6 hours on em and they cost 10 bucks a pop?

I don't know what the shots would be - it may just be four novocaine shots, and that'd be a drag. Better to get knocked out. They're certainly not going to shoot you up with anything fun...they wouldn't give you a shot of valium when they could just give you a pill.
The drugs come after the surgery. They'll give you a painkiller like Vicodin or maybe percocet. I have no idea what Sans is.

when i had my wisdom teeth removed (a looooong time ago) - i was given a shot which knocked me out instantly. I slept throught the whole procedure. I was given a script for tylenol with codeine. I was young at the time and my mom kept the bottle of pills knowing that I would be partying with them. I would take only half of the pill that she gave me and out the other half aside for recreational usage. WHen the script ran out I had a decent amount for recreational use.
This was just my experience. Hopefully you will get some good shit like Vicodins or precosets/percodans.
good luck. :)

They will probably give you like 10-20 5/500 vicodins, which for most people who have had experience with opiates, won't do much for a buzz unless you take like 5+ of them at once.

maybe if i cry and bitch to my mom about how my script ran out in one day because the pain is so extreme ill get bumped up to valium

That makes no sense to me. Valium doesn't come after Hydrocodone... that's like saying Viagra comes after Paxil... different types of drugs, Valium does nothing for pain. Valium is anti-anxiety.. it will put you out.
[edit] You could cry and say that your pills aren't helping much and see if he gives you Oxycodone or 7.5mg Hydros...

yeah I just had my wisdom teeth pulled about a week ago. For some reason when i went into the consultation thing like a month before the actual surgery the doctor already wrote out my scripts and my dad got them filled right away. so I ended up taking all the lortab they gave me before the surgery. i told my mom i took them for back pain so she made up an excuse that i was allergic to lortab and they gave me a script for darvocet instead. as for the actual surgery i was awake the entire time. they gave me like laughing gas and novacaine. no big deal.

My experience...
I had a foreign doctor who proceeded to give me what he called a "party cocktail".
The only thing I remember is that when I got there, he took me in a half hour early and put me on gas.
He then proceeded to tell me how much I was going to like what was next...
The IV was already struck, and the only drug I remember him specifically administering was Demerol.
I have never IV'd drugs...but I can honestly say that the injection he gave me was the best buzz that I have ever felt.
Yet another reason to NOT inject dope.
Anyhow...as for the script he gave me afterwards, I was prescribed Norco 10mg. Hydrocodone...very pleasant indeed.
I'm not sure if this is standard or not, but I was rather surprised by his willingness to 1.) give me a 10mg. script and 2.) refill them without any second visit or consultation.
Anybody in the Ohio region, I would suggest this Dr.
Luciano Stroya, wink wink.

Hahahhaha....

last time I had demerol I was in the ER, I was in severe pain (ruptured cyst...the only thing good was the drugs) They gave me half of what they normally would of it(by now they already gave me vicodin I think it was) and wow I was feeling great, totally forgot about the pain...then the nurse gave me the other half and I was knocked out for 4 hours lol
I have to get my wisdom teeth removed someday and my dentist already has told me that I'll be getting a novicane injection beforehand (and I HATE it too...ever try to eat noodles with 2 tongue piercings AND your mouth is fuckin numb? lmao my mom was highly amused) I'm getting some good stuff, then he winked at me and said I'm most likely gonna end up with a 2-3 week supply...but the pain should be gone within a week. I love my dentist :)

Why the hell does everyone think Valium is a pain killer???? Hahha ive heard this like 4 times the last month. Bro if the doc "knocks" you up to valium you will just be tiredly in pain.

When I got my wisdom teeth out they gave me IV sedation. I'm not exactly sure what drugs were involved but I know its neither a local or general anesthetic. I'd had both before so I was asked the dentist beforehand which it was. He said neither. I asked if I'd be awake for the procedure and he said yes, but you won't care, which was pretty acurate. Actually the whole thing was rather enjoyable. When it was over I actually asked the dentist if we could do it again. Afterwards I got a prescription for Demerol (I'm allergic to codeine) which was also fun. Trying to stop taking the demerol a week later was not so fun though. Switching to tylenol made me really depressed and my face was swolen for so long... Anyway, IV sedation is good. Ask for it.

The IV sedation was probably IV Demerol + IV Valium. Demerol pills suck though IMO.. if the dentist would have given me those after the visit I would have requested something else.
